The Case Against "The Dark Knight"
On January 20th we received a report of likely plagiarism of multiple stories in the CSI and Law & Order fandom, by a poster named The Dark Knight. The original report can be found here.
At least two victims were identified: lovlyangl and See Jane Write, by the mods at the CSI Forensics archive. The mods did a very thorough line by line comparison, made backup copies of the posts, and then as per their protocols, deleted all of the stories that had been posted to the archive by The Dark Knight.
Investigation showed the works posted by The Dark Knight are reworded copies of stories posted by the identified authors. Multiple attempts were made to contact The Dark Knight, but to date there has been no response.
Given the evidence, The Dark Knight was placed on the list of known plagiarists.
