Who: Wizard Howl and maybe YOU~
What: Howl may or may not have been taking a flight over the mall district, aaand now we have a chance to poke at his not-so-perfect side /o/
When: Let's pretend this was late yesterday night, shall we~? |D'
Where: The Library
Warnings: Black feathers everywhere and a very tired, testy Howl...yeah, nothing of particular note XD
It was with an immense sigh that Howl sank into the chair, posture for once the very last thing on his mind as he sagged against the backrest. Gritting his teeth slightly, he shivered as the opacity spell gradually wore out, his frame phasing back into visibility for any that might have possibly been watching. Except that there wasn't anyone - shouldn't have been anyone. The Library was utterly silent and supposedly empty, and Howl very much wanted it to stay that way.
He'd come in through the main entrance, for once, instead of through room 3-23 - heavens knew the last thing he needed was one of his roommates seeing him in this state - and, finding a corner relatively secluded from the rest of the area, he'd chosen this spot to rest. There didn't seem to be anyone around at this hour of the night...he'd only be here for a short while anyway. Just long enough to catch his breath.
Closing his eyes, Howl took a long, slow breath, savoring the moment of peace. Ignoring the prickling sensations in his arms as the last traces of the escapade receded. Ignoring the deep chill in his limbs, a chill that always seemed to follow afterwards. Pushing away the memory of the blankness, the almost feral emptiness that always overtook his thoughts every time he decided to take on that cursed form...
And it was because he had his eyes closed, and didn't feel like mustering the energy to open them again, that he didn't notice the feathers. Long, black feathers now littering the area around his person, marking a path all the way back to the library entrance for those perceptive enough to notice. They were now scattered at the foot of his chair, clung to the folds of his coat...and there were even several in his hair, standing out prominently against the unnaturally blond strands.
