Wally is just going to raise an eyebrow. "We both know there's a trick to this." He's going to pick a card anyway though, because magic or no magic he gets to hang out with Zatanna. "Nice outfit, by the way."

"Of course there is. It's called magic." She matched his raised eyebrow expression from over the deck. "Work uniform. Long story."

He snorts. "Riiiight, and I'm the tooth fairy." He looks at the cards and just picks out a random one. "Now what Davida Copperfield?"

Wally may or may not have been saving that name for a while.

The bad nickname actually makes her giggle, as she absently shuffles the cards in her hand. Seemingly without paying attention to them at all. There is a pause, and she cuts them, holding out the bottom half to Wally while turning away.

"Put it back in. Just make sure you remember the number and suit."

Wally grins, proud that he could make Zatanna giggle. He's still got it...not that he ever lost of, of course. He looks at the card, two of hearts, it's easy enough to remember. He puts it back in the deck.

"It's all you."

Once she's sure the card is secure, Zatanna places the top half over it. And shuffles again.

"Dnepsus S'yllaw nesohc drac ni dim ria~!"

While the spell is still echoing off the far wall, she tosses the entire deck up into the air, cards flying everywhere. A shower of reds, whites, and blacks. It takes a moment for the chaos to settle...and when it does, a single card remains. The two of hearts.

Hovering in mid air. No, spinning in mid air.

Confidently: "...is this your card?"
