[Despite little familiarity with the craziness of holidays, Geki can be crafty and enough of a jerk to dash by and jump crowds. One of them lands him just short of a cart.]

Ah-! This is insane...

[While he's had one or two accidents already, Minato manages to see the large tiger jump in his path soon enough so that he could stop the cart before another occurred, albeit barely.]

[Doesn't take much to recognize it, though.]

Oh, sorry. ...Guess that's one way to get around crowds.

[He can see Minato somewhat behind he the pile of things in the cart and moves to see him better, recognizing the blue hair and voice from the Guide.]

It's fine. People are adamant about their own pace, so it's more convenient.

So I've noticed. Hard to move as is without constantly adjusting speed.

Mm... That's quite a haul you have there. You seem to be luckier with your finds compared to everyone else though.

I've been keeping an eye on these things for a while.

Luck's probably a part of it, though.

That's thoughtful, especially for such an amount like that.

Seeing as you actually look fine and not crazed by all this, it probably does. I can't say the same for luckiness, considering what I wanted to get were mere groceries.

[There's a brown paper bag hanging off his tail]

Even the grocery store? Wow. Even worse than back home...

Oh well. Less than a week left. Before long things will die down again.

There's irony in watching things wanted enough to pounced and clawed for.

Wouldn't the Drive be about that time?

...Oh, right, that's right after, isn't it? Hopefully it isn't too bad...

It's erratic enough to be not know whether it will be worse than this or not.

... Curious, are you finished with your shopping, or do you have more?

We'll just have to find out, then.

Ah, I'm about done for today, but I still have a store or two to visit.

...

I don't know whether to be amazed at how many you know or the effort you're putting in.

It's nothing too much, really. Just take it one person at a time.

Mn, That makes sense.

It actually feels odd that I wouldn't have to get many gifts this time, but not much can be done about it. Wanting those wormholes, of all things...

[Shaking his head]

...Might be best to not actively look for them, though. Never know what's on the other side.
