[when Nepeta sees Will pass by, nothing strikes her out of the ordinary at first. the psychic thing doesn't faze her at all (it's a normal thing for lots of trolls, after all), and shopping in itself is a rather mundane task.

while her natural instinct makes her blush at the sight of the buckets-why do humans always insist on bringing such filthy objects out into the open like it's no big deal?!-she can't help but be drawn to what's inside one of them. having been raised in the wild by a cat, live fish is a particular favorite of hers. since she'd come to the Thor, she hadn't had any opportunity to eat things the way she normally used to! her curiosity getting the best of her, she begins to follow Will, hopefully being stealthy enough to go by without his noticing...]

[for a while she's afraid she's been spotted! ...oh, wait, no, false alarm. whew! she breathes a quiet sigh of relief, though she makes sure not to make it too loud. that'd just be wrong!

man, if Nepeta hadn't eaten in a while, she'd probably just give up on this endeavor altogether. ON ONE HAND, THE DELICIOUS FISH; ON THE OTHER, THE...BUCKET... stay strong, Nepeta...! here she goes, getting poised to pounce...]

[THERE IS NOW A CAT TROLL FLYING TOWARD HIM AT HIGH VELOCITY (though really, at this point she'll just be looking like a green blur), HOPE HE'S PREPARED]

[SUCCESS! Nepeta instantly kicks the bucket away as a blush spreads across her face. she tries to distract herself from that, though, as she attempts to reach for the fish, but... finds herself too stuck to him to get to it.]

Hey! What is the big deal?!

I get that, but usually I could sepurrate from people purrty easily! [she would have given him some hugs, had he...not been carrying the bucket...so] I just want the fish!

Ooooh! You are psychic?

I purrmise! And ooooh... what kind of pet?

[she doesn't notice the strange inflection, especially as she tries to reach for the fish! she doesn't try to think too hard about things; it makes everything so much easier.]
