On his way home from work (soooooooooo tired), Canada happened to glance up into the tea house. And then his gaze was fixed for a good long moment, because he saw Jasmine in a kimono. She was so cute. So cute. So... cute...

With a blink he snapped out of it and drifted into the shop, his face already feeling a bit warm with a blush. (Perhaps it wouldn't be so noticeable under his beard...?)

He greeted her with a small, tentative wave. "Hello, Jasmine."

Jasmine's face brightened instantly upon seeing her boyfriend. She wasn't expecting him at all, but oh boy oh boy was she happy to see him anyway. "H-hello, Canada! I, um..." Oh goodness, she was blushing a little too, though hers was due to being self-conscious. This was the first time she has really worn makeup. Was it noticeable...?

"W-welcome to Yoshibara Tea House... go ahead and find a place to sit?"

The makeup was only noticeable in the best possible way - her eyes seemed even bigger somehow, and the eyelashes... (Snap out of it, Canada. Now is not the time to fall into a daze.)

"Thank you. Sure-" With a glance around he took a seat close to where he was standing.

"This seems like a really nice, calm place to work."

"I-it is really nice! It's nice and relaxing after a long day..." She excused herself for a moment to get the list of teas before handing it off to him. "How was your day?"

"Thank you." He takes the list with a smile, but responds to her rather than looking it over. "I- I'm afraid that it's been a long month... America and I are training for the finals of luge, work at Class Act goes on like always, and I'm helping Chiyo and Eirin out as much as I can with hockey in the rest of my free time-" He then glances down nervously. "I'm sorry I haven't been around much..."

Jasmine hesitated for a moment, looking around to make sure that no one needed her help or was looking her way, before sitting down across from him. She rested her hand against his, smiling reassuringly. "I-it's okay... please, don't apologize. It sounds like you've been really busy."

Her fingers curl so she could give his hand a gentle squeeze. "Just, um, don't overwork yourself, okay? You need to relax, too..." (Said the one who took two jobs so she could get money for gifts.)

"Th-thank you. You're so understanding." With a more relaxed smile he squeezes her hand back. "I'll try to not overdo it." He gives her hand another tight squeeze before loosening his hold a bit.

"How are you? I'm glad to see you have such a relaxing place to work."

"I'm doing alright! I've been a little busy as well, but it's worth it... I'm really glad I can ski again." Her expression changed to a more sheepish one. Skiing was something that she never would have thought of without him... it was just another positive thing he has done for her in her life.

"I'm so glad you're enjoying it." He gives her a slight grin. "Even though it's fun, please don't overwork yourself either, okay?"

She giggled a little. "D-don't worry. I'm fine." Jasmine stood back up on her feet reluctantly. "Do you, um, know what you might like yet?"

"Ah, sorry-" No, he'd rather talk with you more, Jasmine. But...

"Um, c-could you recommend something calming, but not chamomile? N-not that I don't like it, but, just to try something different-?"

She would probably come back, anyway. "Calming? Um... I've heard lavender is good for that. There are a couple of teas with lavender in them."

"That sound great, thank you. Whichever one you come to first is fine." He trusts her recommendation completely.

"A-alright..." Jasmine smiled a little, then excused herself for a few moments to make the tea. Something with lavender... earl grey is common with lavender, but they don't really have that available. Maybe something more herbal...?

And Canada simply watched her, admiring how lovely she looked in a kimono.
He idly wondered how many occasions might warrant her wearing it, and when she might again... it suited her really well.

Don't space out too much, Canada, because soon she is returning with a tea kettle and a cup. "I, um... I hope you like it." The tea she made was a white tea with lavender and other floral accents.
