Upon her boss discovering that Shiemi owned a kimono, she'd been told to put it on and go visit Yoshibara. Why... Shiemi wasn't entirely sure. Her boss had said something about 'customers tastes' and 'addicting additives' and 'who their suppliers are' and 'anything to make sure we have a leg up on them'. None of which really made any sense to Shiemi. But after spending all month at Victoria's and being told she couldn't go anywhere near Yoshibara or she'd be fired, it was kind of exciting to finally be allowed to see the other tea shop. It reminded her of home and she'd wanted to visit it all month.

"Erm... pardon me?"

Jasmine was the first of the employees to notice to Shiemi, so she was the one to approach. In the back of her mind she wondered why the other girl was here at all; Jasmine was almost certain that she had seen Shiemi work at the other tea place, Victoria's. However, a customer was a customer and she would feel terrible about ignoring anybody.

"Welcome to Yoshibara Tea House!" She smiled warmly. "How are you today?"

Shiemi jumped a little as Jasmine greeted her, and she quickly bowed.

"Ah! Hello! I am fine today, thank you."

Jasmine bowed as well before straightening up and gesturing behind her to the seating area. There were seats by windows, paintings... there's a bright and positive atmosphere throughout the entire tea house. "Go ahead and sit down anywhere, and I will be with you momentarily."

"Okay!" Shiemi considered the various open seats, then carefully plopped herself down on a cushion next to a window, so she could see the small garden outside (which was probably a holographic projection but so what, it was pretty).

It was, but it looked realistic enough, right? Jasmine took a moment before returning to her with a list of teas. They were mostly herbal and green teas but there were others on the list as well. "Here is the list of teas that we're offering today. There's a wide variety!"

It looked very realistic, and if Shiemi hadn't noticed the way the plants always moved the same set of motions, she might have thought it was real. When Jasmine returned with the tea list, Shiemi perused it with excitement.

"Oh wow, what a selection! It's so different from--" Oh... she probably shouldn't mention Victoria's... "--what we have at home."

Even to her it sounded a bit fake. But then she spotted something.

"Ah! Tamaryokucha! I just started growing some."

Her smile widened. Any oddness in Shiemi's statement slipped by without Jasmine feeling the need to ask about it. "You have? I haven't really tried it before..." She fiddled with the sleeve of her kimono a little nervously. "How does it taste?"

"It's one of my favorites. It's almost berry flavored and it has an almondy aftertaste. My grandmother showed me how to make it when I was a little girl."

"I'll have to have it sometime! It sounds really good." She paused for a moment. "Is that what you want to order, miss?"

"Oh yes," Shiemi replied with a nod. "And maybe, once my first crop is ready, I could bring you some?"

"Th-that would be really nice! Thank you very much..."
