[Long before Polly realizes Seto is there, someone else does. Alice's nose pokes into the shadows under the bed, followed by the rest of her, drawn by this new, unfamiliar scent.]

[She then promptly greets the boy by licking his cheek.]

[Is it a dog? Seto can't tell. People have some really strange animals wandering around. He's prepared to scoot back, but then he's licked on the cheek. That can't mean it's evil.]

[Alice makes a little trilling sound, for all the world as if she's answering him, golden eyes gleaming in the dark.]

[From elsewhere in the suite, Polly calls out.]

Alice! Time for our walk!

[The animal yips, but stays put, her tail waving from underneath the blanket that overhangs the bed. Looks like she wants her owner to meet her new friend.]

That's a strange noise.

[The little animal seems nice. He moves around and pulls a cat toy out of his bag. Yes, play with the strange animals Seto. He brushes it against the ground in front of the fox. Wanna play?

Oh, is that Polly's voice? He recognizes it.]

This must be her room.

[Coming into the room, Polly sees the bushy tail sticking out from under the bed.]

Alice, what are you--

[She stops, realizing, via telepathy, that there's someone else in the room, and that they're under the bed. For a moment she's frozen by a bittersweet memory--the last person for her to find under her bed was Break. Then she sets the thought gently aside and kneels down to peek tentatively into the shadows under there.]

Hello...?

[Alice gives another yip, welcoming her owner to the party.]

[Seto stops moving the little toy around to look over at Polly.]

Uh. Hello, Polly.

[Then after a second, he adds]

Is this your pet?

[Now that her owner is here, Alice turns her attention to the toy, sniffing and poking at it with a paw.]

[Polly smiles, recognizing his voice.]

Yes, that's Alice... But why are you under my bed?

[The vixen makes a quiet sound as the toy twitched, paw slapping down to try to pin it.]

[She stretches out on her stomach to make peering under the bed easier.]

[After a moment of thought, Polly holds a hand out, and there's an odd stirring in the air. Then, quite suddenly, there's a sandwich and a cup of apple juice that weren't there before.]

[Seto takes a peek out from under the bed to look. Where did that food come from? Seto's sure she didn't move anywhere.]
