A wise doctor does not mutter incantations over a sore that needs the knife.

Who: Marisa Kirisame and Eirin Yagokoro
What: One witch seeking medical clearance and some peace of mind.
When: 9/30
Where: New Gensokyo, Eientei
Warnings: talk of surgery, medical stuff and emotional drama

And I talked to my doctor, and I must admit, you know, I'm sometimes quite renowned for my outbursts and I was just very frustrated, maybe a little frightened. )

It didn't take long for Eirin to respond to the presence of a witch upon the grounds of Eientei. Without the rabbits about, Eirin had to remember to respond to things on her own instead of sending them to do it. She didn't mind, however, it lent a true feeling of being a proper servant of the house when she had to respond to everything on her own.

When she met with the black-white face to face, she offered her a soft smile.

"Please, won't you come in? I've already prepared tea, and we can discuss your urgent matters, Kirisame," Eirin said softly as she stepped aside properly, allowing Marisa passage into her home before adding, "the usual rules apply, of course."

"...yeah. I know. Whatever." Her grumbled dismissal lacked the usual tone to it when she was reminded that she wasn't allowed to touch anything and all that jazz. It was too flat, like she was going through the motions more than actually feeling the words.

Marisa followed Eirin and then sat down, adjusting the sling her left arm was in. "I think I'll pass on the tea. Not feeling tea-like, ze. Sorry."

"I see," Eirin said quietly as she retrieved the tea. The woman made herself comfortable in her own seat after daintily setting the tea down, pouring herself a cup.

"You do not seem well, Marisa Kirisame. I know you have been having trouble with your shoulder, and wish the metal removed, however I am already a bit worried over your general condition," she said softly before taking a sip of the tea. Her words only sounded professional, however they did still carry the weight of true concern.

Eirin looked Marisa dead in the eyes after lowing her tea cup. "I will not play any games this time, please tell me of your concerns."

"Aside from my shoulder, I'm physically fine. The hip finished healing up like two weeks ago," Marisa replied. She then sighed heavily and propped her head up on her hand.

"...I'm not happy, ze. Everyone's upset with me. I keep trying to make everything work with everyone and when I placate one, it upsets another. I'm, like, at the end of my wits, ze. And being incapable of doing anything all damn month long has been hell. I still don't even know if I have the energy back to cast Master Spark yet."

Marisa grumbled, "Wish I had someone to blame."
