[Serenity was supposed to full of sound, but now with just River and Kaylee it was quiet sometimes. The echoes of crew calling to one another, of arguments in the dining and the rumble of the engines wasn't present anymore. It made the small ship feel too big and even though River knew they were safe it unsettled her.
So she went wandering. Finding places she's seen before. Shops with musical instruments or ballet shoes that a part of her coveted. Other places as well. She kept moving and watched people, things that were people but weren't human... It was interesting.]
