Reimu would have awesome adventure stories except she's sleeping. In a chair. Having curled herself up in Marisa's hospital room, she made herself at home...and I mean curled up literally since she's a pony too.

The horse miko is also snoring loudly since breathing has gotten a lot differently late. Hopefully that doesn't bother you, Marisa.

It seems Marisa's tail is just long enough to flick over and brush against Reimu. Since the witch pony is terribly bored, she decides to continue doing that until the shrine mare wakes up.

One lucky brush later and Reimu is waking up, sneezing loudly.

"Damn it, Marisa!"

Oops. That would be a golden tail smacking Reimu in the snout since Marisa didn't expect the miko to wake up so easily.

"Heh. You were looking all cute there, ze. Couldn't take all the cavities it was causing."

She snorted once, to her own disbelief. Reimu hated doing that while looking like a horse.

"I'm sure that was exactly it. I was too cute."

Marisa tried to giggle, but it came out as a high-pitched whinney. At least she covered her mouth with the hoof she could use.

"Yup. Exactly. You were all curled up in an adorable ponyball. Snoring." She grinned. "You missed Minato. He stopped by while you were sleeping."

"I don't even know who that is so I don't really care."

She hopped off the seat with her hooves clopping on the floor. Hiking her way around the other side of Marisa's bed, she propped her front hooves up on it and rested her head on it.

"Anything else?"

"He's Kaguya's boyfriend and a friend of mine. Really relaxed guy. Kinda like how you'd be if you actually cared about things and wasn't lazy." And male.

"Oh, he also brought me dinner. Much better than the crap this hospital keeps trying to give me since this whole pony thing started." She gestured to the paper bag next to Reimu. "There's some apples and carrots in there if you're hungry."

"I do care about things. No one just brings them up."

As for the second part, she huffed in Marisa's face. She was a pony but that didn't mean she wanted to eat like one.

"Fine. Whatever. You eat the same as always and ewnjoy being sick. I didn't." She'd already experienced that. It was far from pleasant, especially when she can barely move around to deal with such things.

"They're good apples, though."

"Don't fine, whatever me. I'm in here because I care, remember? Sheesh."

She grabbed the bag of horse food and hefted it up to the bed. "If you like it so much, here."

Marisa sighed and gave Reimu a light headbutt. Affectionate in a way. "I know. I'm just all... grouchy. Everyone gets to have fun being a pony and I'm stuck here. Meiling's all 'let's go work out' and stuff."

She dipped her head into the bag and came out with an apple.

Reimu returned her headbutt. As odd as it was, she understood what it meant, at least.

"Let her mess around however she likes. Chances are, she'll do something stupid as a pony and break a bone."

"Apparently she's kicking trees in New Gensokyo," Marisa replied after earting the apple.

"...you wanna come up here and keep me warm? I dunno when Karen will be back from amusing Remilia."

"Might as well. I'm not doing anything else."

With a second leap, she hops up into Marisa's hospital bed.

"You're pretty good at getting around like that, ze."

Time to grab onto Reimu's pony clothing with her teeth and pull her down to where the witch wanted her. There. Now Marisa will begin the process of stealing the miko's warmth.

"I'm tired of being hurt. I'm gonna be out of commission all next month. I don't even know if I'll be able to work. Karen makes more money then I do. Maybe she can cover my rent, too."
