Who: Erik and YOU!
What: Erik makes the terrible, terrible mistake of visiting the planet. Would you like to suffer with him?
When: Nnnooow?
Where: On the planet.
Warnings: ....fourth wall breaking? I started with prose, but feel free to respond in whatever format you're more comfortable with.

Erik had not been getting much rest since his recent arrival on the Thor. In fact, he had hardly slept at all; it was difficult to, when one's just been told their world is no more. (And he found it particularly hard to accept, perhaps more than most.) His natural response was to keep himself busy, distracted, focused on orienting himself to the current situation, which did include paying the local planet a visit.

In between his arrival and now, however, he had found ample time to clean himself up. He was no longer dirtied and bloodied and questionably dressed, but rather the opposite. He found several sets of clean clothes awaiting him when he visited his room for the first time and the cuts on his face were less prominent, though scabbing. He almost fancied himself less-than-conspicuous even though he made no real effort to be.

He learned the hard way that on this planet, a refugee was never truly inconspicuous. They were more likely to be the startling and disturbing center of attention.

Such is the case, as he soon found himself surrounded by easily excitable groups of people, all of which had the annoying tendency to spout absolute nonsense.

Example: latched to his right arm was a girl in a red costume, while practically leaning against him on his left was a man in blue. Without warning or explanation, they had approached and immediately attached themselves to him as if it was the natural thing to do. Scarletsomething and Quicksomething began simultaneously posing for pictures while Erik stood there, bewildered and unamused at the same time- he couldn't quite make anything out over all the fuss that was going on; the planet itself was unbelievably noisy, but when surrounded by a group of fascinated people? Utterly incomprehensible.

He was hardly paying attention in the first place, nonetheless. Erik was gazing around, looking for the quickest exit. Perhaps something large and metal to knock this crowd unconscious, he thought to himself humorlessly.

(It was a very tempting thought.)
