After a few minutes of tinkering, Damian finally managed to find a map on his guide. He knew there was a manual, but figuring things out on his own was simply what he preferred. Following the map very closely, he made it to the training rooms and spotted who he assumed was 'Ezio' from the network.

He was actually planning to book a room of his own, but since this person had booked one already, it certainly did not hurt to use it. Besides, he was ... curious. Seeing that post was a break from the usual network dribble of people forgetting to shut off their feeds and people humiliating themselves at their jobs. Ezio probably had a love for fighting, so there was a chance he would be good. If he isn't, then Damian could simply go elsewhere.

He steps into the room, his arms slowly finding their usual place crossed in front of him. That 'youth' you spoke to just now, Ezio ...? He happens to be ten-years old.

Ezio felt the presence of another. When he looked, he was quite surprised to find a child standing with his arms crossed. "Are you lost?" he asked tentatively. Truly, he did not know what to make of this boy, who seemed mildly intrigued.

"I am exactly where I'm supposed to be." The response came too quickly, as if he was used to such questions.

"And you ... must be Ezio."

Ezio shifted his weight onto one leg and placed his arms on his hips. "You must be Damian, then."

Now that the initial half-shock passed, he walked up to him. The directness of the boy was something he liked already. "So you are a fighter." He was interested in what he could do. "Since when if I might ask?"

"Long enough." The response is vague, but purposefully so. He did not want to elaborate on his backstory -- not with someone he had just met. Damian had a secret identity to keep, anyway (as little as they meant on the Thor). The less people who knew he was kept in a bio-tube until seven years of age, then put to intense training on the first day he was 'born', the better.

After that curt statement, he makes his way over to one of the red cylinders. They were intriguing. He had seen how they emulated the human body, specifically how one behaved after being hit, from Ezio's demonstration before. It was the first time he had seen equipment quite like this, "What are these?"

He smiled his crooked smile. Answering without a clear response, clever boy. Perhaps he was truly skilled in combat. He would judge for himself once they begin.

"I do not know, these are not from my world," Ezio answered. "Places like this do not exist in Roma, not that I have seen."

'Roma'. Could he mean Rome? He has yet to hear anyone refer to it as such, so that was something to take note of.

"They aren't from mine, either," To his knowledge, anyway. Anything seemed plausible in the world he came from, after all. Damian delivers a kick at the side of the cylinder, and it wobbles in response.

"Tt. Now that's what you call a punching bag," He was impressed. Though that thing didn't look like a human body, it sure felt like one. It had the right toughness, yet an elasticity to it. Perhaps, after his paycheck arrived (as pathetic as the amount would be), he could invest in one of these. Anyway, there was something else he was more interested in at the moment. After a pause, he adds, smirk widening as he gazes in Ezio's direction, "Though I'd much rather be kicking the real thing. "

He crossed his arms, impressed with the swift kick to the punching bag. It wasn't entirely unheard of for boys so young to brawl and fight but Damian was something else entirely. Which made him wonder why exactly would he know how to fight so well. Altaïr was also very young when joined the Assassins, was he not?

Ezio's grin grows wider with the boy's smirk. "Very well. Show me what you can do."

"Try to keep up." Big words from a tiny person, as usual. Damian was arrogant by nature -- his family's superiority complex bleeding into his upbringing -- but that did not mean he could always live up to it.

He lunges forward immediately, his fist aimed right at Ezio's chin in an uppercut.

Such cockiness, such arrogance. Not unlike himself when he was young.

The speed of the punch caught him by surprise. Teeth crunched against each other, but it wasn't long before Ezio retaliated with a punch to the boy's chest after gathering his wits briefly.
