This was starting to get absurd. Youmu's sad, sorry moping had gone on for too long. The girl seems to have been fairly reclusive of late, and even missed a wedding-even if said wedding was part of the problem. Even so... who in their right mind would miss a party and social gather of that size? Or so that was how the vampire thought of it. Someone had to break the young gardener out of her sulk with a little socialization; even if that person was Remilia Scarlet.

...And nevermind that this was more for the vampire's own amusement than Youmu's sake.

Remilia did not dawdle. She arrived fairly punctually, shade parasol predictably on her should. (Oh, how she hated that sun.) It'd been quite some time since the Scarlet had last had tea with the gardener; she almost looked forward to it, truthfully.

The leaves were crushing nicely. As Youmu finished the tea, the vampire walked into the garden.

Youmu knew she was there, so she went to go greet the devil. Of course, with tea in both hands.

"Right on time, just as expected."

"Hello, Youmu." She greeted before seating herself with a light chuckle. "I would be disappointed if you expected anything else. Mm, how long has it been since I have last had your tea?"

"Over a month perhaps?" The ghostly gardener said as she also took a seat.

"It feels a bit longer than that." Or quite a bit longer. It depended on who's perspective this was from. Remilia still waited for her tea, but it would probably have to cool still before she could drink.

"Either way, it's been too long. It's been an eventful month, that's for sure. I trust you haven't been slacking?"

Youmu poured her a cup. It was a fine mixture. Something likely promising to Remilia's tastes.

"Of course not. I lack the time to slack."

Remilia hums lightly in approvial, scooting the cup gently towards her. Yes, definitely too hot for her to drink from, still.

"Ah, diligence, even when no one is looking. The fairy maids could learn quite a few lessons from you, were that possible."

"It's not possible?" Youmu questioned. Of course she really didn't care either way, there was no time to teach fairies the ways of being a servent.

The vampire pauses from picking up the cup, shooting the gardener a dry look. "Do you honestly expect the fairies to be capable of anything useful?"

"If they have brains, the possibility is there." She takes a sip of her tea. Hmm, a little strong, but that's alright. Maybe she wasn't paying enough attention while making it.

"Either way I see your point."

"Competence is a rare thing these days," Remilia muttered before blowing gently on the tea. A sip revealed it to be nearly-scalding (to her), but pleasant. Maybe a tad strong, but pleasant.

"I guess that's true, I never really pay much attention to that sort of thing though. How is the tea?"

"Of course. You do not have subordinates. Why would you need to?" came the dry response. At the question, the vampire took another cautious sip of the tea, evaluating it again.

"Above expectations, as usual. Could use honey, though." It really was fine tea. A refreshing change of pace since... well, Sakuya left.

"Ah I see, I have some more if you'd like." The half-ghost said as she realized what her mistake might have been.

"I apologize for it missing the necessary ingredients."

Remilia laughed softly at that. It still surprised her that the half-ghost was willing to do that, nor did the vampire understand why, but hey; she wasn't complaining. She would let Youmu cater to her wishes as much as the gardener wished.

"If it was necessary, would I be drinking it now?" Another amused chuckle. "But yes, more honey is always welcome." Never mind that it was expensive or anything.

Damn you! gensokyo_myon July 14 2011, 19:57:46 UTC
Youmu got up off her seat and brought out a small cup of honey. Not much, just enough to hopefully satisfy her guest.

"I'm not sure, I don't know everything about you, Remilia-san."
