Jinx was a natural born leader. Throughout her years of refined schooling and education, she had always been the one to take charge, which meant she was always ahead. She was not sidekick, no lackey. Well aware that her dominate initiative often left others behind, she was willing to step down just a bit for Chouno. He was sick, he often called himself weak, and he seemed like the type who could take command. Letting him set the pace for this venture was consideration for someone she was liking more and more with each passing second. It also may have been a bit of a test. Despite her excited urges, there was always a part of her that watched, that calculated, and no matter what she was always on guard. Living in a world where everyone was your enemy put some on edge, but it only brought out Jinx's potential to excel. As a result of being able to adapt to anything that was thrown at her, she had awful mood swings, but right now she felt at a constant. Observing, admiring, scrutinizing, and actually finding fun aboard that intergalactic prison.

The sound of his voice kept the chills tingling her skin. Closely, she listened to what he had to say, despite the distraction of his dramatic gestures. Funny, Chouno began to remind her of herself when she was lying. She too would throw around her arms and strike those histrionic poses. When he turned and looked over his shoulder, her eyes were definitely not on his anymore. The way his jeans tightened across his pelvis like that was almost enough of a distraction to stop her from what she was about to do. Almost. She took her time giving his ass a prurient stare, but when he began to walk, her eyes flicked straight ahead. Her excited grin took a turn for one more knowing, self-satisfied.

One of Jinx's most prominent physical talents was her dexterous speed. In an instant she was not only beside him, but began to move in front of him, walking at his pace, almost circling the young man like a vulture stalking those about to die. Aware and controlled, yet still a bit supercilious. "No one seems better than any other? You are so full of it. ....you are so interesting." she chuckled lowly. "Making up for having no idea with whimsical acting. Distraction with your hot features and that tone of voice. I like it. It isn't working on me, of course, because I know this game, but you... you're good." Then she came back into a straight posture and moved beside him, actually smiling. She looked happy and the tone of her voice matched, as though she had never been anything else. "You know, I'm going to want to be with you more often, Chouno. For coming from a boring place without people like me, you sure know what no one else around me never could pick up. And that's art."

She reached out to him to touch his shoulder and smooth her hand down his back, if he let her. With her other hand, she pointed in another direction and began to lead toward it. "I sense a lot of people are testing the odds this way. You can usually assume that's where the party's at. I was going to let you pick the pace, but now you're just going to have to keep up." She was really beginning to like this boy. Jinx just could not shake the strong feeling that there would never be a dull moment at his side.

It was a testament to his self control that his shoulder did not even tense for a second at her touch. His flesh seemed as completely unaffected as his endlessly unstirred eyes. But there was a flash in his mind, that he hated to be touched like that. He hated the way he wanted it, hated that it made him feel wanted. That woman, his home tutor, she had poisoned physical affection for him, even the dull, barely formed affection from Jinx. If it was something he wanted, then it was something that could be used to control him. But if he was aware, and if it was him, he could deal with it, he was certain.

Chouno had been groomed since birth to be a leader. It was one of the reasons that he was called by his family name, even by his brother. The only man in the world who had called him Koushaku had been his father, and it was all because hr had been born to lead the Chouno family. To everyone but the current head of the family, he was supposed to be their superior. He was supposed to be the embodiment of the Chouno family creed. And darkly, disturbingly and ever so happily, he was. And he was good at it, like everything else he had ever tried. His eyes saw through people, straight into their desires, his mind recognised those desires and twisted them to his means, and his body enacted those plans. Which was why he didn't mind that Jinx had noted he was manipulating her, because she was still doing what he wanted her to.
And the best part was that what she had described as whimsical acting and 'that tone of voice' was not acting or a particular attempt at any kind of voice. It was genuinely what he did and sounded like at almost all times. He hadn't been aiming to distract her with his features either-he had just exposed them as much as he wanted them to be seen. Strangely, the way to get Jinx to act according to his wishes seemed to be doing what he would do anyway. Marvelous. With his sweet and soft voice, he spoke again.
"I do not play games, Jinx. Anything I say or do, and the method I do it in, that is-" And now a habit of his, breaking words into their syllables when he was excited, a pause after each one to allow his pale lips to make the shape of the sound.
"Sim~" The pouted lips of a super model "pal~" the open mouth with a flash of tongue "ly~" his teeth exposed as a smile "Me~" And again his lips pulled back, but now that he had spoken, they remained that way, a real smile, gentle as his voice.
He knew that likely she wouldn't believe him. But that was fine, because the truth could just as easily be used to control as lies.
"But I'm glad that you appreciate my appearance as much as I appreciate yours. Keep in mind that no matter how beautiful my body, it is nothing but rotten on the inside. Keeping up may well kill me."
But still that tone, as deep as honey was thick, as soft as nectar was thin and as sweet as both.

He strode by her side, his manner of walking somewhere between effeminate and masculine, his hips swaying but his legs staying the same distance from each other. He was beginning to like Jinx back. More than anything else, other than his own weakness, he hated hypocrites and fakes. Jinx seemed to just be what she was. It was something he greatly enjoyed.

The way he spoke was almost memorizing. So saccharine, yet she felt something behind every word. Usually those who spoke as he did lacked cruelty, and here she was with Chouno, wanting to know just what he was capable of. Eyes locked on his lips, she watched him speak out each syllable of a single word as though it were three. Catching her bottom lip under an abnormally sharp canine, Jinx swallowed hard. Spending time with this man was going to be an absolute blast if she could just keep herself under control. Hopefully he would be able to keep up enough to dance just a little with her, if only so she could have his hands tracing along her precisely toned body. It was, after all, what she wanted to do to him.

Forcing her eyes head of them, she let out a melodramatic sigh. "You don't play games? Well, that's no fun at all." Taking to walking backwards once again, she pouted her lips right back at him. "I guess you're not really interesting at all. Boring like the rest. A dime a dozen. But oh well, I have nothing better to do than bore the night away with you, so I'll make that sacrifice." Her slit pupils trailed down from his eyes to his chest, chin following as she drank him in. "I am so charitable..." she mumbled.

Spinning around quickly, she grinned at the sounds coming to her ears. Suddenly, there were more people standing about, as well as a scent of food and alcohol in the air. As they entered the entertainment center of this ship, Jinx made a firm decision that aliens knew how to party. "Need me to make sure there's a doctor in the house before you can come play, princess?" Looking back over her shoulder, she winked at Chouno. Now that she felt as though they were out in public together, her heart started beating faster. If not for underlying motivations of coming to this place, she would have latched onto his arm and paraded them around for a bit. Not at all accustomed to such delicate features, she could have just watched him for hours. But now was not the time...

Right in the middle of the way, Jinx bumped into a man talking with his friends on a deceptive accident. Gasping, she held one hand behind her back and put the other to her lips. Looking up through her thick black eyelashes, she used her natural blush to her advantage. Usually she would do something like this without the target even noticing her, but there was nothing wrong with being a little ostentatious in front of her handsome date. "Oh, I am so sorry! I never seem to watch where I'm going, silly me~ The lights here are just so pretty." Swaying her hips back and forth while she spoke, she managed to make the man stutter and take responsibility for the accident. He blushed, his friends laughed, and Jinx departed from them with a girlish smile and a singsong, "Bye bye~"

Upon returning to Chouno, she brought the man's wallet into view and opened it up. Brushing her hips lightly against his, she looked up at his gorgeous face and laughed. "Drinks are on that guy."

He had seen it twice now. When he did something that excited her, she bit her lip. Now that was good to know. This was amazing. Just by doing what he did normally he seemed to be able to create exactly the reaction he wanted most in the world. A physical craving for him, an appetite for more of him. The way she swallowed was telling, and he loved it. The way she walked, to better look at him, it was the thing he wanted second most in all the world. The first being to live, forever. The second was to be seen like this-something that could not be looked away from. He really doubted that at this time, in this place, Jinx could have controlled herself well enough to keep her eyes away from his body for long.

"I am nothing like anyone you have ever met."
His smile was darkly cruel, the twist of the lips vaguely predatory, starkly contrasted to his eyes which simply held no desire to harm a single thing. How a boy that literally wished to burn down the entire world could have eyes like that was mind boggling.
"Games do not interest me because once I know how to play them, there is nothing but certain victory."
Naturally he was stating this with an air of playful bragging, but it was actually more or less true. Chouno was a genius. There hadn't been a single thing he'd ever done with his mind that hadn't been so painfully easy. It was feelings and his body that failed him. His mind hadn't faltered once in his entire life.

Chouno watched Jinx's little show with an amused air. He hadn't seen her take the wallet, but he could easily tell from the control she had shown so far that she couldn't possibly have honestly bumped into the man by accident. When she revealed the wallet, that predatory smile returned, wide and only curved at the very tips of his mouth. Happy enough that he didn't feel the urge to kick her in the face for allowing their hips to touch, he looked down with those eyes which for once were narrowed, showing his delight at a bad deed done well. Definitely not a fake, doing what she wanted to get what he wanted.
"I'm afraid I must disappoint you again. I don't drink anything but water."
That reminder to himself caused the twist of his lips to lessen. It was only by choice that he kept that smile, which was no longer genuine. He'd phrased it playfully, and said it in his usual velvety voice, but he was concerned that he might actually be disappointing her. But this was one thing he couldn't think his way around. He really couldn't drink anything but water, at least not often. And alcohol was completely out of the question. His organs were in tatters as it was without introducing poisons, no matter how pleasurable.

That smile of his got to her in a way she could not completely suppress. Though his eyes seemed almost out of it in their serene gaze, that wicked smile of his made her heart run fast. In a very short time of knowing him in person, Jinx already wanted to spend every waking moment just watching him. Usually she could pick someone apart in no time flat. It did not take long for her to determine the motivations of a person and what they were capable of. Her knowledge so far about Chouno was very limited as he slowly revealed it to her. He had control of himself, and she liked that a lot. Surrounded by alien technology and a wealth of new information, he still managed to be the most interesting and unique gem she had discovered aboard this ship.

From the looks of that provocative, rapacious grin of his when she returned with the wallet, he liked it when she was a bit bad. For the first time, his eyes seemed darker. For a third time now, she caught her lip, this time hard enough that she could taste a hint of blood. Even when he told her that he could not partake in the consumption of alcohol with her, she still kept so intently focused on him that she could have legitimately run into someone. That expression that he had given her deed was not only alluring, but she felt like it was approval for what she had accomplished. Jinx fed off of approval, and feeling it from someone so provocative and fascinating was an indescribable sort of happiness.

Something had to be done about his inability to drink alcohol, though. They would find some other way to have fun. Until that time came, she dug through the wallet and took what was good, then threw it on the ground as they walked. She stuffed half the credits down into her bra, then decided to put the other half to better use. She could always get more, anyway. Looking innocently to the side, she moved her hand quickly to stuff the credits into Chouno's back pocket, then took to stretching her arms behind her as though she had done no such thing.

"You can't drink, you can't keep up with me, and you'd probably faint if we ever had to run from the cops. I really shouldn't even be hanging around you. Whatever could you do for me?" With an over-exaggerated, bored yawn, her eyes drifted to the people they were passing by. One seemed to pique her interest, and bringing her arms back in front of her, she snapped her fingers with a small flash of pink. There was a surprised cry and a female passing them tripped over her own heeled shoes and fell face first on the floor. "You know what they say~! If you can't walk in 'em, don't wear 'em," Jinx called back over her shoulder in a condescending tone.

"Anyways, what was I saying? Oh yeah..." she continued, grinning back up at Chouno. Her eyes and the way she moved her shoulders from side to side almost begged for his approval once again. "Guess we'll just have to find fun some other way. I'm still making you dance with me, you know. You don't even have to move a muscle if it's too much." Suddenly thinking of something, her eyes lit up with new found excitement. "Oh! I do need your help. I'm going to get into a certain," her eyes darting around them for a split second, then locked back onto his, "profession. And I need to look good. I'm not talking like I usually do, but really good, the kind of good that men will believe anything I tell them. Not like a prostitute, though, I don't wanna put that out there... but classy, seductive, and just dangerous enough that they'll wanna roll the dice or pick up the cards." Her hand reached out to run her fingers down his bicep, if he did not pull away. "What do you say, Chou~no?"

This time, Chouno gave a reaction. Touching his arm and chest was annoying but he could see it coming. Suddenly having a hand in his back pocket almost got him to yelp out loud. Not actually making a noise, his back stiffened and he straightened up. But he masterfully faked a small smile and arched an eyebrow at his companion, before seemingly getting over it. In reality he was on the verge of politely asking her to stop touching him like that.

Unfortunately for Jinx, Chouno was not impressed by random acts of cruelty. He had been on the receiving end too many times, but more importantly, it served no purpose. Stealing was fine. It was a way to get things, and those that couldn't keep their possessions had no right to complain when they were lost. And certainly he had no objection to unleashing suffering on others, in fact he enjoyed it immensely, but only when he had a reason to do it.
Fortunately for her, however, he was fascinated by her ability, and an interested spark struck his eyes, an intensity in them very different to his usual total relaxation. Focused on her fingers for a few seconds, his gaze rolled up her arm to her face, where he rewarded her with another smile, this one the first to show his teeth. Chouno's teeth, like his eyes, were capable of instant and bizarre transformation-when in a predatory mood as now, they seemed to be much sharper and almost vampiric. The truth was they hadn't changed at all, but just to look at him, the intensity of which his feelings were unleashed caused minor hallucinations in those that saw him. His hunger for knowledge manifested itself as a carnivorous desire so strong that the mind was tricked-something with desire that strong couldn't be human the mind said, and thus imposed what it thought should be there over what the eyes actually saw.
"Fascinating."
His voice had an interested bounce to it now, which remained as he spoke on about her request, letting the bicep touch slide for the simple reason that she was asking him to do the exact thing he wanted to do. That thirst of his had faded for now though, and his teeth would seem to be perfectly normal as he maintain his smile.
"That would be problem for me at all. I will make you capable of twisting the mind of any man that gazes upon you."
Bending his arms and raising them so that his palms where exposed upwards, he closed his eyes, still smiling.
"But I suppose if I must dance, I will do so."
His eyes slide open, still slightly narrowed, still slightly cruel. This was a good night after all.

There was something different in his eyes now, a spark that she could not put her finger on. He made it difficult to focus on anything else. The was his eyes would change from serenity to this was beyond fascinating. Jinx could watch him for hours, and now she had the wonderful opportunity to. The only thing that could draw him from his eyes was the smile he donned. How a look so predatory could come from any average human was beyond her. Then again, Chouno was anything but ordinary. If his body could have kept up, he had the potential to be a great villain. The Brain could pull it off because he always had Mallah to keep him safe. Maybe Chouno just needed a keeper to watch after him. He needed muscle. Too bad Jinx would never degrade herself to that.

Excitement overwhelmed her as he spoke of what he could make her look like. Already she could twist the mind of any man, but that was through manipulation... or waterboarding. Laughing, she spun around in a circle as they walked. Jinx had not been this happy for a while, not even before her home was eradicated. The last time she felt this way was standing alongside the Brotherhood of Evil as they showcased their latest plan to take over the world. Her heart was beating quickly without the rush of battle. And when he told her finally that he would dance with her, she could barely keep at his pace.

The moment she heard music, she turned to head directly toward the excitement of a decent looking dance club. For being a ship full of random aliens, they seemed to have a good enough taste in music. From what she could hear of the beat, Jinx would have no problem dancing to it. So filled with energy now, she needed something before she just exploded. Another need necessary to be fulfilled was a close proximity to Chouno. She could not seem to keep her hands off his elegant form. His clothes were an absolute tease and the sound of his voice kept her near. How strange and sudden this attraction was, but no one could blame her.

Before they reached the door, Jinx stopped and held out her hand to him. She wanted him to give her his hand so she could lead him through the crowd without getting separated. "Come on, ba~by. It's time to dance. You ready or do you need to sit down with an oxygen tank for a few hours?"

Chouno had already been a villain, although not so formally as Jinx. His plots had claimed the lives of nineteen people personally, each time turning those that he killed into intelligent animals that followed his orders-and ate humans. Over the three years that he had been delving into the world beyond normal humanity's scope of understanding, his homunculi servants had eaten hundreds of people. And he didn't care at all. It was of as minimal importance to him as birds eating ants. As long as they did what he told him to, he didn't care that they were monsters. He preferred it, in fact. Human servants could betray, or lie, or be disinterested. His wonderful monsters, the results of countless hours of hard work, focused genius and most importantly a desire to live...they were his and he missed that. Having total control over things. Being able to kill whoever he wanted. He wanted that again.

Chouno would have to admit a dislike for the music. It just wasn't his sort of thing-he preferred gentler, more elegant music. He'd been taught to dance as a boy, but that was ballroom. He'd never dance in any other way, and had never developed a taste for the sort of music which he suspected Jinx liked. He found it slightly annoying that someone with such potential had such little taste, but then, she did appreciate his appearance, and wished for him to improve her appearance. So even if she had little taste of her own, she could use his extensive taste instead.

Now the offered hand gave him a seconds pause, but a second was all he needed to swiftly think out his next step. He certainly didn't like the constant contact she pushed on him, but this was not the same. This time, he could decline or accept at his leisure. And so, he accepted the hand, a lazy smile curving onto his pale lips.
"As long as it is not too stressful, remember."

Unbeknown to him, Jinx had impeccable taste when she was not focusing on being a rambunctious teenager. Most of her physical fighting technique was derived from years of gymnastics accompanied by ballet. The style of dance managed to focus her raw strength into something adroit and precise. Dancing technique allowed her to dodge things in the most elegant fashion possible, and that mixed with her feline ways made her light on her feet. Almost everything about Jinx's body was finely molded, crafted meticulously to be the ideal super villain. At any moment in time she could have been a cultured young lady, full of exquisite grace and divine taste. However, wanting to was another story entirely.

The hand he placed within hers made Jinx's temperature rise, which was awfully dangerous. She was so excited that her eyes flickered with fuchsia light for a few seconds before she turned back to the door of the club. "Not too stressful? What a shame. I'm used to getting thrown across battlefields like a cannonball and you probably couldn't even pick me up. How will you ever compete?" Her voice was drown out by the sounds of the club cluttering up the foggy air. Laughing, and getting a bit more bounce to her step, she led him toward the middle of the floor through all the people. With the zealous energy building inside of her, some had to come out. Shot glasses were cracking as she passed them.

When she seemed satisfied with a spot at the center of the club, she stopped and turned on the toes of her platform shoes to face Chouno. The flashing lights of the otherwise dim club played across his pale flesh. Shamelessly, her eyes slowly took in his body, head to toe. Though he was still young, he was a man. There was no denying it. Coming back up to the halcyon features of his face, she wanted nothing more than to see them twisted again. Narrowed eyes, that wicked smile, some of the most pulchritudinous things she had seen.

Enough watching him, though. Now it was time for him to keep his eyes on her. "If you can't keep up," she yelled over the top of the pumping music, "just stand there and look cool. You can manage, right?" After a wink, she looked away from him began to feel the beat of the music, first from her knees, to her ample hips, then up through the rest of her body. Grinning, she began to feel the beginnings of that release she had been begging for. The base of the song thrummed within her, showing outwardly. She came down on one hip then pushed out her other, rolling her back in a catlike arch until the push of her chest made her head fall back. As this continued, her palms caressed over the curves of her form.

Whenever Jinx fought, she was absolutely in the moment of it all. Nothing existed to her except for the opponent, herself, and eliminating what was between them. The same transferred over to this, which made her the most coveted and terrifying female at the HIVE Academy dances. Flexible and athletic, she knew what she was doing. Tilting her chin down, she looked up at Chouno through thick eyelashes, her gaze predatory. That look about her was one that both commanded attention and wanted to lay it all upon him. Hips rolling back and forth, she reached out to run her hands down Chouno's chest.

With surprising speed for a sickly boy like himself, Chouno's hand grasped Jinx's wrist with a fleshy slapping noise For a few brief seconds, he merely stared down at her, with his even normally disinterested eyes devoid of any spark of concern, as if he was looking at something that was of no importance whatsoever. He held that gaze only for a short while, his mouth slightly down turned, not in sadness but simply boredom.
competition
And then, a smile spread out and his eyes closed. His sweet voice sounded innocently curious as he spoke,
"Com~"The 'm' that pursed his lips 'Pet~' the 't' that bit his tongue 'it~' and again that slip of pink 'ion?~' and finally, the held shape of his lips from the 'n' left a gap exposing the very tips of his teeth.
Slowly, his eyes slid open and his purple serenity was completely gone-that apathetic approach to the universe was gone. These eyes were active. The constant tiny twitching of the pupils, which had somehow absorbed all the purple and left horribly scratchy looking scribbles, was like a dance. And speaking of dancing...Chouno had been taught to dance. Very well, in fact, like everything else. True, he had never tried this particular style before but it did not interest him anyway. And if it was boring him, he would just change it into something that didn't.
He bent one knee to lower himself, swept one of his long arms under Jinx's own knee, and then stood. With the grip on her wrist and her knee, it was a simple matter to lift her up. Then, let gravity allow him to swing her small frame downwards, so that her hair just barely scraped the floor, hanging upside-down from his grip. With the momentum from that, he pulled back up, releasing his grip on the knee, allowing her to twirl outwards from his body, using his grasp of her wrist to spin her and finally, pull her back, so that she would land facing away from him, using his other to hand press her to his torso. Naturally, this was all assuming she allowed him to take the lead-if she chose to struggle at any point, he would have been completely helpless to stop her. But he was banking that a combination of shock and a desire to see him do something would keep her submissive. Relativity submissive, that is-he didn't expect her to start following orders or even taking requests just because he showed himself to be a dominate dancer.

"I told you already. When I know the rules there is nothing but certain victory. Competition is for others to worry about."
But he was already paying for showing off. His chest was burning with that familiar horrific feeling, of rotten organs fit to burst. His muscles were tensed to prevent a cough for now, but he wouldn't be able to stop it for long. He just prayed that he would have enough time to hold this position long enough for the impression to hold on her before he had to ruin it with his weakness.
