Who: Remilia Scarlet and [Open]
What: Vampires and sudden rain don't mix. Shall you troll or assist her?
When: Not long after the drive event began
Where: Recreation/Shopping district
Warnings: Cranky vampire ahoy.
Some called rain serene. Some called it soothing. Others named it beautiful and life giving.
Remilia felt like finding these people and punching them in the face.
Of course, her situation was a bit different than most. A majority of creatures weren't repelled by rain, after all. It was mostly a vampire attribute, shared perhaps with a small portion of demons or fire spirits of some sort. Sudden heat and humidity was surely a sign of Thor's Improbability Drive activating; nothing new, but very unwelcome. Unwelcome, but tolerable-barely. Sudden vegetation growth? Also unwelcome, yet tolerable. The low lighting didn't bother the vampire at all, for obvious reasons. The crack of thunder hardly half an hour later, however...
Despite Remilia's haste to finish her business in the shopping district, rain came pouring down. It shouldn't have been surprising; a jungle environment warranted jungle weather. Still, she'd been caught unaware, startled, and dropped her Guide before fleeing to the nearest source of shelter.
So here she was, damp from the pouring indoor rain, sitting on top of one of those cheesy, tiny cafe tables with the large umbrella fastened through the middle. Her Guide still lay out in the middle of the walkway guarded by a wall of falling water, so there was no calling her resident magician to 'fix' the weather. Just being this close to the rain made the vampire feel miserable, so the idea of fetching the Guide out of the rain was absolutely repulsive.
She'd sit here and wait for the Drive's weather to resolve. However long that took.
