After dodging a couple jetpack toting space lions on his way back from turning in his final playground blueprints, Ed was not in a good mood. Not only were there space lions, which, in his humble opinion were better than having space dragons because there was no fire breathing involved, but the temperature was almost as hot as that time he went to the Xerxes Ruins. Only, instead of the dry heat, the ship was so humid it was practically raining in place.
Stupidest fucking weather ever.
Swearing under his breath as he arrived back at 6-8A, Ed slid the door shut with a completely unsatisfying snick and then proceeded to do what he'd been wanting to do, but unable to do, ever since the power went out. Shuck off his clothes in an attempt to cool off. The shoes were the first to go, toed off and flung at the door. Then went his coat, tossed over the back of a chair in the kitchen. His shirt was next, but it had buttons, and Ed still hadn't regained his fine motor control.
"Fucking ship and its fucking Drive and fuck these fucking buttons!"
Swearing rather loudly now, Ed headed for the bedroom as he fought with the buttons, a nice icy cold shower the only thing on his mind.
