Who: Lemina Ausa, other members of the New Magic Guild of Vane, open to pretty much anyone who was here at the time and wants to drop in. Assume the information was forwarded to your Guide.

Part I: Eating and Mingling megamagicpower June 27 2011, 08:23:12 UTC
[Once everything was set up, Lemina grabbed herself a plate, served herself some salad, and took her seat at the head of the middle table. Once everyone was here and they all had a bite to eat, they could get down to business.]

[Patchouli had decided it would be a good idea to show up for this, despite her friend's current situation. She wasn't much of a cook, so all she really brought were some store-bought cheese and crackers and a pot of tea. Small pot of tea, but it never seemed to run out. Magic!]

[Either way, once she got food, she was off to sit in some corner somewhere. After all, she wasn't here for the socializing; she was here for the meeting. For business. Once the actual meeting started she'd opt for a closer seat, but now? Nope.]

[Obviously this means people should bother her.]

[Magic, is there nothing it can't do? Clearly once the Guild is on its feet, they should start pulling in funds by dominating the housewares market.]

[Lemina took notice when Patchouli arrived, and after a moment of debating, she abandons her seat. The plate of half-finished salad still left there should be enough to tell everyone the seat is occupied, right?]

[And heads over to bother her teacher.]

Miss Knowledge! You made it!

[Aaahhh nooo social contact it burrrnnnssss]

[Patchy looks up, a bit startled that someone actually went out of their way to bother her.]

It was not in my interests to miss something like this.

I'm so glad! I was really hoping to hear any ideas you might have about designing a new library from scratch, since this will be the first time we're housing the Guild's library in the same building as the Guildhouse itself.

And after that awful Purist attack on the Thor's public library... we'll need to start thinking about some mega-tight security measures.

... ... ...

... oh, pooh! It's too early to start talking about that, isn't it? Almost no one is here yet!

Well, anyway. How have you been?

[Why, yes, she does have ideas, but that will wait until the meeting.]

It has been busy. A few unfortunate turns of events, however I would rather not get into them as of now.

[Because she's not gonna tell people that her best friend just got shot just yet...]

... ah...

[Now she's curious, but it would be rude to pry. Awkward!]

Well, I... um, hope they take a more fortunate turn?

Glad you decided to show up, ze.

[Guess who sat down next to you?]

...why you sitting all the way back here?

I had been intending to for a while.

I am back here because I am eating. I will move closer once the actual meeting starts.

With everything going on with... yeah, I didn't know if you would. You really should join the Guild; I made Alice join.

I intend to, yes. The resources provided would be of use.

And unlike her, you actually like to teach. We really need someone who can do that. I'm not exactly the teaching type, ze.

I would imagine. I don't think I would want to see you teaching.

I'm good at explaining things to those that already get it, but to make people who don't already get it understand? Not such an easy task, ze.

That part can be difficult, yes, but achievable with adequate preparation and a proper textbook to pace your lessons with.
