[Finding the right appartment, Canada shifted his bear Kumajirou to one arm so that he could knock tentatively. He really hoped that she didn't mind his being there, but Kumajirou had insisted that he come along once he found out that there would be baking. Plus, he wanted to meet Chiyo's dog. So really, what could Canada have said?]

[Chiyo hears the knock on the door, and she's excited for a moment... before she realizes she's not quite done setting things up! still, the door opens for Canada, with Chiyo calling out from the kitchen:]

Mr. Canada? Is that you?

[Giving a slight start of surprise when the door comes ajar but he hears Chiyo's voice from the kitchen, Canada tentatively pokes his head through the door.]

H-Hello, Chiyo. Yes, it's Canada. May I come in?

Oh, yes, feel free! Sorry, I'm still getting things ready. -Oh, um, and don't mind Mr. Tadakichi! He's very friendly, hehe.

[at Chiyo's mentioning his name, Mr. Tadakichi perks up and makes his way to the door, as if to welcome their new guests! like owner, like pet.]

[Canada enters in and takes off his shoes as is his habit, then blinks at the huge white dog that comes up to them.

...Wow, he's really cute.

Hesitantly holding out his hand so that Mr. Tadakichi can smell it, Canada smiles at him. Kumajirou waves his paw and simply says,]

"Hello."

[While standing there with his hand out, Canada calls out to Chiyo,]

I- I hope it's not too much trouble, but Kumajirou came with me today...

Oh, not at all! In fact, that's probably a good thing-I'm sure Mr. Tadakichi would be happy to have some company while we're busy here.

[at that point, Chiyo emerges from the kitchen, apron on and looking completely ready for business.]

[Canada shyly pets Mr. Tadakichi, then turns to face Chiyo, Kumajirou still in his arms.]

Th-thank you, Chiyo! Um, this is Kumagonou.

[And the bear waves a paw and says simply,]

"Hello."

[Canada winces at that.]

[Annnd, Canada will just leave him to it. (Kumajirou, you're such an attention hog...) He quickly follows Chiyo.]
