Who: Wolf O'Donnell and Xigbar What: A meeting of the minds...for guns! When: [Backdated] May 25th Where: Recreation deck in a bar Warnings: Nothing at this time
There was something to be said for sticking out in a crowd. Or... not much of a crowd, as was this case just at the moment. Either way, it made the person he'd come here to meet more than easy enough to spot even across the room and Xigbar wasted time in heading on over.
Oh, now there was a surprise. Admittedly, mostly because he hadn't been expected anything of the sort, but still, he wasn't about to turn the offer down just because he hadn't been expecting it. The drink he rattled off to the bartender wasn't one he expected Wolf to be familiar - most of the ones from that particular world were far from ordinary - but a drink was a drink all the same.
"So," he began, as the bartender slid his drink over, "what'd you have in mind?"

"How much punch are we talking here. Are we talking taking out another spaceship, or just something that the local army'd want to get their hands on?"
Not that he couldn't manage both, of course. It was just a matter of scope, time, and in some case, judicious application of things used in ways most people might not have thought to. But one way or another it'd come out right in the end.
"Something that could take out a group of people in a single shot. Or a reenforced door for that matter. Think you can do it?" Wolf knew time would be a factor here, but time gave other opportunities. If this guy was on the level then maybe he'd invite him to join his team. Starwolf was in need to rebuilding after all.
"A group of people's gonna be hard, unless you've got a wide-angle shot or really tightly packed people. Doors are easy. But yeah, I can do it."
If it looked like it might be to his advantage to, he might even see about finding a way to replicate some of the tricks his own weapons could pull off, but no need to jump to the fancier stuff just yet. Give the man what he wanted, first, and then they could see how much it might be worth to work on the rest.
"Depends on how good the shops are here," Xigbar answered. It wasn't really like he'd tried looking for gun parts in the stores around the place. Then again, it was a giant floating spaceship. How hard would it be?
"One of that kind of project, hunh?" He didn't really expect an answer. The request for secrecy was, after all, more than enough of an answer on that front. And secrecy he could do. He'd had a lifetime of it, after all.
Time to get this show on the road.

"I need a firearm that packs a punch. Possibly some sort of laser cannon. It needs to be strong."
