SUDDENLY, a familiar voice spoke up from behind here, jeepers who could that be. "If you buy food first, it could go bad by the time you've finished shopping for clothes."

Kamui wasn't much for shopping, but sometimes it was a necessary annoyance that he occasionally had to suck it up and deal with. He had to admit, running into someone he actually enjoyed being around would probably make the trip a little more bearable.

“Ah?” Noi turns her white head, smiling when she saw Kamui “Kamui.” She nods after “You are right. I should buy ravioli after I’m done with the rest” She puts her groceries list back in her pocket.

“Are you shopping as well?” of course she’d stick with him. Noi would rather have someone around to help her than to be doing this alone.

"Yes, unfortunately. I was just going grocery shopping, but it's awfully boring to go by myself. It kind of adds to my trip, but I could stick with you for a while, if that's alright."

Kamui smiled, leaning down to pat Kikurage on it's weird looking little head.

“Sure, I don’t like shopping alone either!” Noi watches Kikurage lick Kamui’s hand and smiles “She got used to you.”

“So, where should we go first?” the woman puts her hair behind her ear “I’ve to buy new clothes to fight, because mine got all thorn up.”

Awww, it likes himmmm. Kamui gave it one last ear scratch before standing up.

"Uhhmmmm... I don't really know where to get something like that. I don't shop for clothes all that often. Maybe there's a directory up somewhere?"

She sighs “Probably something related to sports or gym. Though it’s so hard to shop here because there are so many aliens” Noi grabs her guide to check for a map.

“Say, wasn’t Tae-chan mad you left for a week? I didn’t get to ask you.”

"Well, I do happen to know where a sporting goods store is. It's not too far from here, actually."

Kamui started leading the way to wherever this store was. He paused at Noi's next question, though.

"Mad? Hardly. If anything, she probably enjoyed not having to put up with me. I don't know why I bother staying in that stuffy little place, to be honest."

“That’s useful!” this is why No1 enjoyed some company while she was out shopping - also because she usually forgot to check the shops she wanted to since she got distracted with food. The huge woman gently pulled Kikurage’s leash so the animal would follow.

“Because you like her.” and of course, blunt as she is, Noi said it as if it’s really obvious.

"Tch, as a source of entertainment, sure! As a woman, she leaves much to be desired. She's plane looking, she can't cook, and she sure as hell can't fight. She's just a violent gorilla with a constant case of PMS. I can think of twenty other women that would be more suitable."

Kamui stuffed his hands into his pockets and fell in step beside Noi.

Noi chuckled at the reaction. It was as if he was trying really hard to make his point, so she decided not to poke about that specific subject further “Aa, then what is your ideal partner? Strong? And loves food?”

"Having more things in common would make getting along easier."

Kamui snorted a bit, distracting himself with the various vendors off to his side as he walked past. He felt a little uncomfortable talking about this, but he couldn't for the life of him place why. Came with being a socially inept psychopath, perhaps.

"Anyway, I'm not interested in finding a partner."

What? She really did think a good partner should love both fighting and eating. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR, KAMUI.

“Sorry I’m asking. I’m curious, you know? Shin-senpai isn’t comfortable about this sort of thing, so I could never really ask him.” or more like, he’d blush, babble something and tell her she was an idiot “Either way, it doesn’t matter much if you have other objectives in mind, I guess. And besides, you find that sort of thing a weakness.” she nods. Still, she didn’t think it was that simple for him.

Big boobs are also a plus OH WAIT.

"No. Well, don't worry about it. It's just not something I bother thinking about."

His guide started beeping from inside his pocket, and he took it out to look at it.

"Ahh, I'd almost forgotten that I'd set this timer." He turned the timer off and fished a small bottle of pills from his pocket, popping it open and swallowing one of the pills dry. "Would you believe this is pretty much all I have to do for my job this month? It's pretty easy."

Noi observed the scene and blinked after “Eh? Really? That sounds pretty easy! What’s the job about?”

"I'm a virility drug tester this month. All I have to do is remember to take the pills and record any side effects or anything. So far there haven't been any. To be honest, I don't think they even work on Yato."

Kamui shrugged, coming to a stop outside of one of the shops.

"Ah, I think this is the place.

She nods “Probably. Thought I didn’t know there was such thing as virility pills.” The woman observed the shop and then gently tugs at his arm “Let’s go.” And Kikurage will be going inside too, hell if Noi cares about any “no animals” policy.

“Hm… workout clothes.” Noi looked around for them, and as she did, she continued their talk “My job this month has something to do with massages for women.”
