Too bad, Naruto. Your hope is in vain because Kushina had made it a habit to visit Naruto at least once while he was on the job, usually with some sort of food in hand and a cheerful attitude to help get him through the day. Not that he needed it but that's the sort of thing a mom did.

Not to mention, what with the recent goings-on with the Sif, and Minato's sudden appearance (and departure) she needed to make sure he wasn't taking the hit too hard. Nevermind her own mourning. That didn't matter as much as her son did.

Within the first few days of his new job, she's already headed over to Señorita Cha-cha's House of Hootchie-whatever. As soon as she's read the sign, let it process in her mind, she can't help feel a weird sense of dread settle over her. What was up with that name? It didn't sound good but she's already pushing the doors open to her son's workplace.

The color drains from her face before turning bright red born from her anger and embarrassment.

He doesn't have to wonder about who that voice is. It's very familiar to him. As soon as he hears it, he pokes his head out the kitchen door to see a head of bright red hair. The color drains from Kushina's son's face before he groans inwardly.

Unfortunately, his manager shoves him out the door with a loud "NO WORK NO MONEY" before returning to his own business duties.

So, here goes Naruto shuffling across the restaurant and trying not to attract any attention to himself.

Why in the world is Naruto working at a place like this? It's indecent! They're all a bunch of perverts to want to be served by girls in practically no clothing. She can't help but stare in obvious disapproval at the waitresses and hostess nearby and their scantily clad forms.

She goes into overprotective mother mode. "HEY! You girls better not be doin' any pervy shit with my son! You hear me?! I'll kick your asses!" All the attention seems to have locked onto Kushina anyway and the spectacle she was making of herself.

Like she cared when her son's virtue was at risk here.
