Warnings: Luffy and Kamui and violence and whatever that could involve.
Luffy's not really the type to pick a fight for no reason, but training and practicing once in a while wasn't so bad! And it was pretty fun to fight different people once in a while, especially if they were strong. The monsters on the island were pretty tough, but compared to a lot of the human fighters on the Grand Line, they didn't really stand a chance. Besides, ever since learning haki, Luffy didn't think he'd met all that many strong people-- or maybe he had just been getting better.
He wasn't expecting it to take a long time-- Luffy was good at not going all-out all the time, but after so long, he was also getting better at ending fights fast. It wasn't really overconfidence or anything, but Luffy was pretty sure he was strong enough to take on just about anybody after two years of training.
He dropped into a crouch to stretch his legs, pushing the straw hat back on his head so the brim flipped up out of his eyes and then glanced around the space. It was a pretty cool little arena, even if it probably wasn't real or anything. But there was lots of space, not too many people around to get in the way, and it was close to the cafeteria. Which was the important part.
