Une stood behind a desk in the dimly lit office, waiting for the bride and groom. 6pm sharp, they had told her. She had already talked to Mr. Wayne about borrowing office space and their benefactor had agreed on the condition that security cameras could monitor whatever they were going to do. In Une's mind, that was a bonus. After all, Mr. Wayne had promised to give them the footage after if it showed nothing illegal. In a sense, Zechs and Noin were getting a pro bono wedding videographer. Of course, she had already run it past both of them and they had agreed to the conditions. Now, if only they could show up on time.
She understood that either the bride OR the groom was sometimes late to the ceremony.
But both?
She glared at the wall clock and watched the minutes tick by, farther and farther from 6pm.
Nine minutes past six, they walked in.
"I hope this tardiness isn't going to set your standard for punctuality as man and wife."
Not irked. Just an amused smile.
"Shall we begin?"
