Demona’s hand reached for the book she was looking for, and quickly flipped its pages. Spells, she needed them badly. And so far, she found many far too complicated and useless during a battle.

“There has to be something…!” frustrated, the gargoyle’s eyes glowed red until she heard noises. And soon she felt strange scents approaching her. Quickly she came to understand she was surrounded.

“No matter.” Her hand outs the book back and the gargoyle held her beam-particle gun, aiming it to the entrance of the shop. She’d kill them and leave after. She couldn’t be captured now, there was still so much to do!

Out of all the places she could hide out, why did it have to be a bookstore? He liked that bookstore; he didn't want the books to get hurt. Still, he had to do what he had to do: get that antidote and deliver a proper punishment for this trouble.

Minato rounded the corner and stood at the entrance, broadsword drawn and on guard, Orpheus Telos set and ready to resist whatever she could throw. There was no trash talk, no demands to cease and come quietly. He knew that his quarry knew what he was there for. No need for words at the moment.

Unlike Minato, Naomi had no abilities passed the Healing Touch and hearing the dead. Demona could probably handle her quickly, especially in that nasty gun she had. Hmph, Naomi would just have to be quick and shoot when she could.

Decidedly, she remained behind the corner for a chance to ambush if necessary... It didn't feel right to have a kid going in, but something said he'd be safe.

Kaguya stood behind Minato, simply waiting for the command to advance. She had contemplated simply waltzing inside and taking this nuisance herself. After all... how do you kill and immortal? But, she had a feeling such a plan would not be approved of.

So instead, she was on stand by. When Minato gave the word, the princess would unleash hell upon the cowering beast inside. Until then... she would bide her time.

One. Two. Three. She inhaled to make sure they were the only ones for now. And eyes glowing red, Demona hurried behind a shelf. How was she going to do this? She had no idea what they were capable of, but she kept in mind that they could be strong or -worse - know magic.

The female peeked over her shoulder at the entrance, controlling the moves and finally, she gave a warning shot. Show yourself she thought, her tail waving with annoyance, but soon, she moved again, climbing on the shelf and using her claws to holder herself there.

A laser shot? She had a weapon. That was a problem. He had no idea what Persona he had that could deflect lasers, so he'd have to deal with that as soon as he could...

"Alright. I'll take point. Kaguya, stay upward and see if you can't spot her before she attacks. Naomi, stay back. Take shots when needed. Try to aim for her weapon." With that, he started inside, heading towards where he heard the shot from.

"Got it..."

How affective her bullets would be against a gun that fired lasers, she wasn't sure. Still, if there was any chance to disarm this... woman, she would take it.

"As you wish." Kaguya floats into the air, keeping her eyes on any movement. Mind you, she doesn't mind staying in the open. If this woman wanted to fire at someone, might as well allow her to shoot at someone that won't die.

"Be careful, Minato."

Oh she knew one of the voices. That human male.

This time she’d show him how strong a gargoyle was. Or at least how strong she was. On the top of the shelf, she shot again, but as she did so, Demona begun to murmur in latin a spell; soon her claws glowed red - a fire spell - and with a swift movement, she threw the small ball of magic fire towards the shop’s entrance.

The hiss was now a growl “Be ready to meet your doom, humans.”

Nothing really surprising so far... Minato managed to dodge both, drawing his Evoker from its holster. It didn't look like there was going to be much room for negotiation here, just subdual. That, however, could be left to the other two for the moment, while he focused on minimizing damage. He brought the Evoker to his head, letting it hover there for a moment before...

"Persona!"

He fired, summoning Orpheus Telos, casting over the three of them a Makarakarn to reflect whatever magic she could throw next. He wasn't sure how well it'd work on the gun, though.

Of all the crazy things so far, that was just out there. He just shot himself... in the head. He was still alive and whatever that creature she saw was... just what had she gotten herself mixed up with. The magic, she could handle; it's when people start shooting themselves in the head to summon...

... Whatever, she's taking a break after this is over. She had no idea what Minato had casted, but it could only be helpful. Still, she was waiting for the opportunity to disarm Demona.
