[Let's be honest. Ashura was shocked to hear the other was getting wed. He thought he might have heard more about it from little Ashura, but it was in the past now.

So he showed up, dressed to the nines for a wedding (or the not wedding, either way he was prepared). He even had a small white box for a gift for the couple.]

Maraich, congratulations.

[Which would be the cause, even if he could not swallow Maraich getting married. The man had not spoken of his lost love as if he could so easily turn around and marry another.]

I shall pass on the balloon for now, though Ashura might like it later. As for the rest - a salad will do.

That's very well.

[He ties the balloon to the chair as he goes and fetches a salad.

Considering it's just a salad he comes back fairly quickly and sets it on the table]

It's no trouble at all! It only took a minute to make the announcement, and Kaoru and Miwako are taking care of the decorations... It's been a lot of fun!
