Noi was passing by the park, on her hand a bucket full of fried chicken wings, and of course still wearing her mask - though rolled up a bit so she could eat and not dirty anything.

The woman was actually bored. She didn't care for Sigrun nor all the drama people have been making about wanting to save everyone and only then save themselves; selflessness was something she didn't understand and really, it was far too weird of a concept for her to get. Who'd want to save others instead of themselves? Ah, you humans and your strange morals.

She passed through an old man, noticing him playing a game and talking to… anyone? Wait a moment. The huge woman stopped, looking at the scene for a while. Yup, he was definitively playing alone. No, wait!! Maybe it’s an invisible man? It was possible, in her world there was that guy - ugh, she couldn’t remember his name - that could turn invisible!

No1 walked up to the old man and looked at the game “… are you playing alone?” just making sure.

Madara didn't look up from his chess board. It took him a full minute to respond, an exaggeration on his reaction time if there ever was one.

He was just so caught up in thinking this through... wasn't he?

He looked up at his guest, expressing unchanging. "Hmm?" Madara looked back across at the empty seat, as if mildly confused by the question. "... I guess so." He sounded mystified by this revelation.

"Just making sure, I though there would be some invisible guy or something" nomming on her chicken wings. "Lonely, old man?"

"Lonely?" He sat up, laughing. It was creaking, like it took more effort than his lungs were willing to give. It was something he'd never call himself. No, not lonely. Not even in this place that had stalled all of his plans for the moment. "I have this to keep my company."

He gestured across the board, making it seem fairly literal. It was, in one sense. In most others, the manipulation, the moving of pieces that didn't even recognize their own nature... "Even if it's not much of a conversationalist."

He smiled, close lipped, up at No1. "Do you play?"

It seems like Madara was in this girl's favorite area in the whole ship, the park. When she wasn't busy with classes she'd find herself running to the parks to enjoy another days worth of exploring. She wasn't one that payed very much attention to the sigrun. From bits and pieces she's heard it made her a tad worried for some people she talked to, but for the most part she pushed it out of her head.

As she was exploring this section of the park she noticed an old man sitting at a small table. She didn't see anyone along with him, maybe he was hurt and waiting for help? She moved in to get a better look and saw a chessboard. This man was playing it alone? That had to be a bit boring, she certainly knew that.

She rushed to his side and sheepishly tapped his shoulder. " Um sir? I know you don't know me and anything and I don't want to impose, but er.. if you don't have someone playing with you, would you mind if I joined the game?" She said with a dorky grin on her face.

Madara's reaction to the young woman tapping on his shoulder seemed particularly slow, like he couldn't quite pull himself out of the concentration focused on the game in front of him. He recognized this voice, from the Guide that was back in one of the locker's he'd helped himself to on arrival. Couldn't afford any accidents, could he?

When he did turn his head to look at Rapunzel, he slowly let his look of concentration change into one of befuddlement, and finally pleasure. "If one such as you doesn't mind keeping an old man company on a day like this, who am I to complain? Please, miss, sit, sit."

He gestured to the open seat, hand hovering over the white queen. "I'll reset the board for us, miss..." Lifting the queen, he paused, looking back toward Rapunzel. "What might your name be?"

" My name? It's Rapunzel, sir! I used to play this game a lot back home.. I mean a lot a lot! With my best friend Pascal," she says this giggling. She sat herself down across from him and kicked her feet under the chair excitedly.

" And you? what's your name," She tilted her head a little.

Madara watched Rapunzel, taking in her excitement and generally bubbly nature. He wondered if it was this sincere due to a lack of confrontation with the reality of the universe around her, or some innate stubborn stupidity. "Hashirama," he said shortly. It was a jest in and of itself, using his biggest irritation's name as if it were his own. As much of a lie as anything else, but it amused him.

"It's hard to imagine a young girl like your spending so much time on a quiet game like this." He settled back, having reset the board completely.
