What: Hat shopping. Canada being helpful. The Doctor having impulse issues.
When: March 18, afternoon.
Where: Hat shops. (Or maybe shop (singular), depending on how it goes...)
Warnings: How bad could it be?
Somehow it had come to this. But Canada didn't mind. It was a good distraction, if nothing else. And maybe, just maybe, he could make another friend...
The Doctor had accepted his help to find a hat store on the Thor that sold fezzes. (Why a fez exactly, Canada still did not know.) But searching on the Guide had not yielded the most helpful results.
In short, one actually had to go to the stores and see what they had.
So he'd plotted a course through the shopping district, starting with one of the largest hat stores on-board, and gave the list to the Doctor. Who, for some reason, had promptly invited him along.
So, here he was, going shopping for a hat - a fez - with the Doctor.
"I'm optimistic that they might have it here," he said in his usual soft voice, stepping ahead to open the door for the Doctor as they approached. "But because it's a large store, I wonder if it will be easy to find..."
