What: Winry is busy at work, settling herself somewhere in the hangar presumably.

Where: The hangar.
Winry had always been stubborn. Been devoted to helping others. This grew further when the young girl first started helping Granny with her auto-mail patients, already started in the fact her parents were doctors and she grew up reading medical textbooks as a result. Winry was no different now to back then in terms of that, going so far as creating custom prosthetics for her patients back home, most notably Edward, her childhood friend. However, when it came to some of the more modern machinery, Winry was still adjusting to it. So she can be found in the hangar peering at some of the machines and ships, taking notes on everything she could gauge without needing to take them all apart (as much as she would want to, she would need to find out who each belonged to and ask, of course).
