Xigbar, by immediate and direct contrast, seemed to be wholly unconcerned with the speech about what all would need to go into the trip. For that matter, he didn't seem particularly inclined to take anything off for the space suit he would (presumably) be donning for the trip. Instead, he simply stood there as he always did, in his usual coat.

Although that could perhaps be taken to simply mean that he was less in the habit of hiding miscellaneous weaponry upon his person.

"Already planning on it. I mean, I wouldn't want us to have to modify the deal any."

"And I want to give you a reasonable cut! After all, twenty nine percent of nothing is nothing."

Mentally preparing herself for anything that might come, she started carefully dressing in the space suit, attentive to doing up all the odd fastenings correctly.

While occupied with that she glanced at Xigbar curiously. She presumed that he would have to wear a spacesuit as well. And he didn't seem to have any weapons about him. Keeping her tone purposefully clear of doubt or criticism she asked, "I trust you're quite prepared for this."

"I'm not reeeally looking to come home empty-handed."

He'd done it, yeah. More than once, as a matter of fact, when a trip to check out a new place didn't yield anything of interest. But that couldn't make him like it. That and a cargo hold seemed like a pretty good place to find a thing or two of value. But he still made no move to pick out a spacesuit. What need had he for one, when space itself bent to his will? He'd sat outside of the Thor for the hell of it once; this wasn't going to be much different.

"Yeah," he answered, the air around him shimmering for a brief moment before settling down into nothing again. It was the only visual cue there'd be. Altering space wasn't something that was the most visible of magics.

The shimmer did not escape her keen gaze, but damned if she knew what it was. Yet seeing as he could hardly collect his cut if he was dead, she felt reasonably confident that he was indeed prepared.

With a wink before putting on the helmet she said, "let's go fill our hands then."

She led the way up to the door to the cargo hold, then with a gesture to match her words she invited him, "after you. As this is your area of expertise."

Xigbar couldn't help but grin at the gesture. It had been long years indeed since he'd last made even the slightest effort to bow to chivalry (and even then he'd been doing some... other things on the side) but that didn't mean that he wasn't aware of how things generally worked.

And if the door started to move just a little before his hand actually touched it, well, surely there was a reason for that.

"The zero-g part or the salvaging part?" he asked with a grin that was none too serious. He even held the door open once he was properly through. Wouldn't do to leave her behind, after all.
