[ Jasmine sighs in relief, her face brightening up instantly as soon as Whitney appeared. She waves in return, though not quite as energetically. ]

Th-that's fine! I would love to check it out after we eat...

[ Funny, she's thinking she might need that soon enough. ]

[ And into the restaurant they go! Their waiter introduces himself and then leads them to a table, leaving menus behind while he went to get some glasses of water.

Jasmine finds herself staring at the menu for a few moments, studying the lunch selection, before awkwardly clearing her throat. ]

... Wh-Whitney? I, um... have something to ask.

U-um... [ Jasmine blushes quite a bit, struggling with how exactly to say it before just simply blurting it out. ]

[ but Whitney it's embarrassing but you're the only one she can really really turn to! ]

H-how do you tell someone you, um... l-like them?

She nods timidly. ]

H-his name is Canada...

W-well... He's really kind and sweet. And gentle, too. He was patient with me when we went skiing and I didn't know what to do... he really cares about me, a-and...

[ She hides her face in her hands. ]

A-and he told me he liked me the last time we met, but I... I didn't... [ sooooooob, so much guilt ]

[ She nods. ]

I-it's... um... Well, I don't know what happened, really. I was really out of it when he told me... [ Out enough to kiss his brother, ergh. ]

H-he's tall. Blonde hair with a curl. [ She draws the curl in the air with her finger. ] He wears glasses, too.

[ She manages to giggle. ]

O-of course!

[ The waiter comes by again, this time to take their orders. Jasmine glances at Whitney. Need more time? ]
