Who: Matthew, Honlon and guests!
What: Honlon has never had a birthday party before. Matthew has attempted to arrange one.
When: Saturday. At...An appropriate time IDEK.
Where: A hired room.
Warnings: Monsters, zombies, a pretty poorly planned party and cake.

And soon enough, Kneesocks shows up at the party. She's a bit surprised at the randomness of the food and music, but if it was Matthew that set it up...well, she shouldn't have expected different, really.

Her first action is to find herself a glass of champagne before bothering to look around to see who was there. It would be against the rules to not make herself known to Matthew or the dragon he mentioned.

And it wouldn't take long for Matthew to make his way over-he's currently wearing a rather fox theme little black suit, including a pointed up collar to simulate ears and fur lined chest.

He is also wearing his ring, so Kneesocks does not get the benefit of being magically turned towards liking Matthew.

What she does get is a happy ten year old greeting her. "Miss Kneesocks! I'm so glad you could make it."

Kneesocks raises a brow at his clothes, hand on her hip as she looks down at him while the other buisied itself with raising the glass she was holding to her lips.

It's only after she lowers the glass again that she speaks.

"It would be against the rrrules to not attend after accepting the invitation."

Matthew has to look up a long way, being so tiny, but he seems pretty happy just to be in her presence, even if it will cause a pain in his neck.
"That doesn't mean I can't be glad to see you, right?"

She doesn't seem to particularly notice, but then even if she did it's not likely she'd do anything to make it easy for him.

"Hmm, no, you should be glad to see me, Matthew."

"In that case, I'm doing just as I should." Matthew turns a glance out to the various creatures wandering around, then back to the demon.

"Sorry if it's a bit weird. It's my first attempt." And, having had a rather strange childhood, he had no experience with parties either. "I mostly tried to do what the books suggested."

Said demon can't help the little smirk tugging at her lips. First time, huh... For a child's first party, however odd it was, it wasn't absolutely terrible.

"It could have been worse."

"I'll definitely try to be a lot better next time." When he hears 'not the best', Matthew tends to hear 'needs improvement', after all.

"Good. I'm sure the next will be better, in that case." Which is good, because that's exactly what Kneesocks meant.
