[Sit down, relax and enjoy the first sunrise of the year. It's a beautiful sight, isn't? Have your first drink of the year after that! There's sake, juice and green tea too!]

[She's not watching or sitting; she's standing a decent distance away from the group, her eyes closed. Waiting or silently conversing, it's unknown, but it's most likely the later. Her connection is still to her sun distances away overlooking empty space. A tie she cannot sever, but it doesn't mean she cannot share strength with another sun, another star or two nearby.]

[The first ray and a smile. She opens her eyes. Marvelous star here; she begins to resonate with it, silver-white hair illuminating with it. Her aura grows and her body glows; the light the sun is giving off is more radiant and the warmth it gives to the land and people just seems much more alive. It stirs the soul and leaves a very comforting feeling to settle]

Distant brother sun of mine, thank you for celebrating the New Year with us.

[How very kind. It seems happy to share with her; good. She will not be exhausted for the celebration.]

[Shuuichi watched from afar, not daring to interrupt the goddess. The sunrise was amazing - you could feel Amaterasu connecting to the local Sun and adding some glowing herself. He couldn't have asked for a more perfect Hatsuhinode.

When she was finished, he grabbed a tray form the table with green tea just as he promised and approached her.]

Happy New Year, Amaterasu-sama. [Bows and then smiles very happy at her.] Thank you so much for this,

[She turns, the last bit of extra glow fleeing from the tips of her hair. She smiles at Shuuichi, accept the cup]

No, it didn't. I haven't had difficulty with any of them so far, but it's only a matter of time. Still, we are in some way kin; we'll speak even if we are arguing.

[She sips some tea]
