What: Family times
When: Juleaften, December 24th

Warnings: Um, idk? Cuteness? Possibly also some potty words.

So, after the long season of Advent, it is finally Julaften, with its huge meal and exchange of gifts. The western-Nordic family, despite any age or cultural differences, are totally into this holiday. In 6-7b there is a coniferous tree ( the closest they could find to a Norwegian spruce ) decorated with hand-carved ornaments, cheap blinding candle lights, and strings of hand painted flags. Around the apartment one can find all kinds of baked goods, though a lot of them would be unfamiliar to anyone not from a Nordic country. A few glasses of gløgg--mulled wine--are lying around.

And then there are presents. Norway, sitting by the tree, has placed his gifts for Iceland and Denmark in a cluster under the tree.

iceland, denmark, norway
