What: His birthday. 8|; Sure, he almost forgets it himself half the time - but it doesn't mean that others won't remind him in short order~
When: Any time of day yesterday, on the 21st of December, aka winter solstice, aka that one lunar eclipse kdjfsdfh is there a trend here yet or is that just me >__>
Where: Room 5-7!
Warnings: fffff.......drinking? Maybe? If there's a visitor that's so inclined >>a Otherwise, none!
Notes: Action or prose is fine. Anybody that somehow has knowledge of Ukitake's birthday and wants to stop by - either to bring gifts or just congratulate or whatever - is free to do so here! New threads can be made for seperate visits, or there can be threadjacking, assuming all involved are also kosher with it! /o/ There'll be a party too, yes, just...at a later date. For very special reasons 8);
It's just another day.
So Ukitake assumes, absent-mindedly, as he wakes up in the morning, pulls up some tea and some breakfast, and starts towards going about getting ready for the time ahead.
He's going to be staying at home, mostly, today - ah, might be a good thing to start tidying up the place again, he supposes. Of course, with only one roommate, it wasn't such a dire task to put at hand...but it would pass the time, and it was best to be vigilant on these sort of matters. He wasn't really expecting someone to stop by, so it was as good a time to begin as any.
So it is that he pursues this notion with gusto, after morning rituals are said and done. Not once, unfortunately, does he spare a glance at the calendar, and the particular day at hand - but even if he had, there wouldn't have been a difference in the result, absentminded as he sometimes gets when it comes to these things.
As far as he was concerned, it was indeed just another day.
