The sight is almost blinding. Snow covers nearly everything in sight, matching the white pelt of the wolf that had guided her here. It's beautiful, is the only thing she can think of and her mouth opens and closes a few times in surprise. Those snowballs and the light covering had been nothing compared to this.

Finally, an utterance of awe leaves her mouth but it's no better than the fish out of water look that had just donned her face. "Wow...this is-"

Then a smile almost as bright as the sheets of snow appears on her face as it crunches beneath her feet. Too bad it was sort of cold. The reminder of her numb fingers causes her to bring them up to her face and blow hot air to warm up the redness that accompanied her flushed cheeks and reddening ears.

Despite the chill, it was an incredibly enjoyable sight.

"Hello, Kushina."

Amaterasu is standing there now, smiling. Her ears flick and she appeared amused. Could it be because more people were coming now? Was it because she had just been having a snowball fight? ... Haha, if you think about it, it's obvious why she's smiling. Still, no hard feelings about being hit by snowballs, right??

Of course not. It was all in good fun, and Kushina wasn't one to get angry about having a good time. In fact, she wished there were more moments to have some light-hearted fun much like this, even if the back of her head is a bit wet and cold.

If anything, she wasn't really annoyed at all. Her tone is cheerful and chirps happily.

"Hey! Ammy!" That was her name, wasn't it? There were so many people at this place she didn't even know, but she'd remember those strange markings. Ah! Now she knew why that dog looked sort of familiar! She even has the ears. "Ohh! You were that white dog!"

It's not really a question at this point.

"Yes, that wolf was me."

She giggles a bit, "You're the first one to come here and catch onto that. I was talking to a young male a while ago, but he didn't think anything about it. Sorry about the snowballs; I thought it would be fun."

If possible, her cheeks get even more red. Kushina wasn't ever really the most observant of shinobi, but it was hard not to notice such stark markings on such a snowy coat and not make a connection. Sometimes there were things she could catch onto that nobody ever really could. "Really?" she grins, reaching up to rub the back of her head sheepishly ( ... )

Those who believe in divine beings, deities, those sorts, or just in Amaterasu herself can see the markings. People don't ask what Amaterasu is often so only some of the ship can see them.

"Oh yes. You wouldn't be the first mad about it..." She had quite a few aliens try hitting her with tools. One called the dog catcher so she covered him in ink. "They sell clothes for the winter in the shopping area..."

Then again, she doesn't wear winter clothes so she wouldn't know.

"Yes, snowballs. Human children are especially fond of the game... it seems like alien children are too."

Her fingers are red again as she rolls the ball in her hand. It melts from her body heat, dripping back to the ground. Snowballs was a game? Well, Ammy had been the one throwing them at her so maybe the game was like catch or something.

"So you just throw it, right?"

Pulling her arm back, she lets it fly, aiming right at Ammy's chest with a mischievous grin on her face.

Payback.

She lets it hit her and jumps, "Ah!"

It already starts melting, but she hurriedly begins to brush the rest of it away. The cold bites for a second and it's always very annoying.

"So, that's how we're going to play?" She gets a snowball packed and prepared, smirking playfully.

The grin widens, eyes lighting up. With the game started, Kushina is fairly sure she needs to run else she was going to get another snowball to the back of the head or something. She's snickering under her breath, even if the snow nips at her toes.

As she flees, she tries scooping another snowball of her own, looking over her shoulder and preparing to dodge the white bullet that would come at her. Couldn't she hide behind something?

With her bright red hair, it would be useless but at least she could get some coverage. Even though she had no idea how this game worked, she could already feel the thrill rush through her.

Amaterasu was quick on her feet as well, watching Kushina dash off. Moegami had red hair too, but not as red as Kushina's. It was a little unfair. Hopefully the other woman would find some coverage.

For now, the game had started. She doesn't want to use her god strength for this, but she still pitches a pretty fast snowball at Kushina.

Does a tree count as coverage? Probably not, but she's hiding behind it anyway. Spotting the flying ball of solid cold, she dodges to the side as best as she can. Not fast enough because the snowball explodes on her shoulder, "GAH!" And blends in with her white shirt.

It actually kind of stings more than it actually is cold. Ammy had a good arm on her and she reaches up to rub the spot before peeking around the side of the tree - not that she couldn't be seen anyway.

"Oi! Nice throw!" she cheers before chucking her own snowball at her opponent at a decent speed before laughing.

"Thanks!"

She dodges the snowball, grinning and gathers up more snow to make another for herself. Oh, speaking about cover, she needed to try hiding too. Kushina could see her marks; she would be standing out too. Doesn't help her tail's already wagging.

omg i'm sorry, that's the second time i've done that today ;;;; oedipusthis December 6 2010, 08:21:12 UTC
Yes, but hardly as much as Kushina. There's so much hair and it contrasts so much with the pure snow. In fact, it looks like fire has been personified in the form of dancing strands of long red tresses. It practically flickers with the reflection of light.

The snowball crashes into Ammy's cover, exploding and leaving a nice white mark. Kushina curses under her breath but the smile remains on her face as she bends down and starts making more than one snowball for rapid fire and cradles them in her arms, tongue peeking out as she concentrates.

And isn't really paying attention.

Amaterasu is low in the snow, creeping on all fours and moving towards the tree. She's trying not to make a sound, but find an opening... or get at Kushina from behind. Hopefully, she's going the right way...

... And fling when she spots the red!

Something whizzing through the air meets her ears, and she turns her head just in time to get a face full of snow.

"Ghahh!" with a thud, she falls onto the ground on her back. Her entire face is already plenty flushed, and she sneezes once and rubs at her nose after getting rid of all the snow. Instead of getting angry, Kushina just laughs and stays in her spot to stare up at the sky.

Finally she sits up and scratches the back of her head. "Ya really got me that time," she consents, but Ammy had only won the battle. She takes on a determined expression now. Time to get serious.

With ninja reflexes, Kushina scoops up her ammunition and starts throwing snowball after snowball.

So, we're going for the war?

Well, Kushina is getting serious. Amaterasu is still playfully dodging through. Her ears get brushed by one though and she squeaks as the chill races. Enough time that she gets a face full of snow and falls. Of course, she comes up laughing, wiping her own face off.

"Alright then!"

She's up on her feet, breaking into a semi-quick dash to get to cover behind a bank.
