Mithos would quietly teleport a good four or five yards behind Kratos, and slowly walk up until he was three yards away. He saw no reason to reveal his true form - the form of a child locked in the shackles of immortality - and thus, remained in the form of Lord Yggdrassil, High Seraph of Cruxis, and the leader of the Desians (as ambiguous as their success may have been prior to the destruction of their worlds ( ... )

"Do I?" Kratos responded somewhat offhandedly, gripping the handrail with both fists, staring off into space (literally).

"...Forgive me, my Lord. I am somewhat on edge," he admitted, although faltered on stating the reasons why. He knew bringing up anything along the lines of possibly having doubts about their mission would immediately be looked upon as an opening to treason, but at the same time, he believed with all his heart that Mithos wouldn't steer him wrong. After all, what else could he believe? After losing everything over and over for the past four thousand years, Krato was tired. Tired of thinking for himself, tired of trying to lead a new life. This was his truth, his path, his Fate.

"However, I am pleased to see you." He concluded.

Mithos looked upon his long-time companion with a raised eyebrow. He did seem anxious. "No need to forgive you. You've kept the Chosen safe, and that's all I asked for." His wings gave a slight flutter as Lord Yggdrassil landed silently. He turned to face the window as the ship passed a small piece of rock.

The blonde-haired angel nodded at Kratos' comment that he was pleased to see him. Truthfully, Mithos was glad to see him, too. If he were to be stuck on this ship with only Lloyd and Colette as familiar faces, Mithos would probably go insane. "Do you think..." the angel said, placing his hand on the window, "... that if we were taken from two different places in time, that my sister could be brought here as well? The way we used to know her?"

"I don't see why it wouldn't be possible," Kratos conceded.

If Martel were to suddenly appear, and therefore eliminate any need for the Chosen to provide a vessel... well, that would certainly be a convenient way to suddenly make everything better. However, chances were slim-- not even the party Kratos had been traveling with thus far seemed to make it. At the same time, he didn't want to crush Mithos' hopes. Not again. And perhaps a little bit of his own denial was speaking as well.

Mithos blinked, and removed his hand from the window. "Martel is the last person I have left to live for. The way she was taken from me... I couldn't live with myself if I didn't rectify the injustice towards her." Mithos then turned to Kratos again.

"We can't use the Chosen in this... thing. Without the Tower, she will never be able to complete the Journey. All we will be able to do is ensure that no harm comes to her... I suppose in that regard, I am thankful that they do not know who I am yet."
