It definitely wasn't Zappa's voice that came from the other side. "Oi! This idn't tha best time to be seein 'im. Come back later if ya wanna yell at 'im some mo." a somewhat distant voice called back through the door.

"No no ya idjit, this could be a good time. She needs ta know this." Another voice, similar, but still different.

And the first snapped back, "Yanno fatso there's the only thing keepin 'er down right now."

"Shaddyap you. I'm openin it."

After so much banter excluding Rydia, the door opened, with her dress hanging right in the way, a pair of translucent hands holding it up. Behind it was Zappa, twitching violently on the floor, writhing really, under a mass of grey translucent matter.

"Ya done ticked her off somethin fierce there, girlie." The creature behind her dress spoke.

"Her?" she repeated, scowling. The ghost with her dress didn't bother her as much as it should have. She was much more interested in finishing her argument with Zappa...who was being held down by a fat ghost using him for a chair.

What. The hell.

"What's his problem?" she snorted. She found it hard to have sympathy for him when he had ticked her off. "Or is he really a girl? It would explain a lot."

She was in a rotten mood.

"Did you bring any food, lady?" the fat one immediately asked, starting to get up. Zappa shifted a little, before a long, lanky version of the same ghost shoved him back down.

"Sit, fatty." And the fat one whined.

"He ain't no girl, least not since last time I seen." The ghost persisted holding up he dress, for if she couldn't see them on her own, at least it was a sign that something else was with them. "Talkin about what's... who's inside him." The dress hovered back between Zappa and Rydia.

"Yeh. You yelling at the kid ticked 'er off and now she's out fer ya. S'best we keep 'im down like this so you ain't gettin 'urt." It didn't keep him from writhing underneath be fat ghost, trying to get up. "See, we an' 'er are that thing he can't talk 'bout. And e'en lil Frank."

And Zappa persisted to get up from underneath the fatty.

Rydia shook her head at the fat one's question. "I haven't eaten in three days," she answered honestly. One of the side effects of being broke.

She turned her attention back to Zappa, her green eyes narrowed slightly.

"...Let him up," she said finally.
