yaaaay! also forgive the abridged flashback that makes little sense :'(

[mogitate]

[the girls are sitting up now. The one in black sees something in the grass]

"Is that...?"

[the girl in looks and gets excited]

That's amazing, Setsuna! Only someone truly looking for happiness can find a four-leaf clover!

"Truly looking for happiness..."

[the girl in pink picks the clover and presents it to the other girl]

It's still not too late! Here, take your happiness!

[the girl in black seems reluctant]

This is what you found, Setsuna. Here!

[finally the girl in black stares at it again and tentatively reaches a hand out]

"The happiness... I found..."

[but then abruptly she stops, eyes gone wide. The girl in pink watches in confusion as suddenly her friend falls forward, face first on the ground, no longer breathing.]

...Setsuna? Hey, come on! What's wrong? [she starts nudging her] Setsuna, wake up!

[but the other girl remains there, motionless and dead]

[now the memory changes. What's supposed to happen is the girl in black is revived as a good guy, a protector of happiness, Cure Passion. But that doesn't happen this time, and the dreamer knows it's supposed to. The girl in pink, Cure Peach, grows more panicked as her friend remains dead and scoops her into her arms, holding her close]

[suddenly the other two girls and the strange creatures drop dead as well. Cure Peach starts to cry as she sees this]

Miki! Buki! Tarte! Chiffon!

[the trees turn black and rapidly wilt away, leaving nothing but dead and barren landscape of a destroyed planet.]

[all that remains is Love, the seemingly only survivor still in her Cure Peach form, hugging Setsuna's body as close as she can]

No worries, that's how dreams work! :-D

[Polly watches in horror as the girls drop and the scene whithers away. Rushing forward, she kneels down beside Love, very nearly as panicked as the girl herself.]

Are you alright?

[She looks around the once-green world, heart sinking at what it's become. She didn't understand why...]

[Love/Cure Peach is startled when she hears Polly. It's a voice and face she doesn't recognize... but can tell doesn't mean her any harm]

Y-Yeah... [although she really doesn't sound like she is judging by those choked sobs] But Setsuna...

[Reaching out, Polly checks Setsuna's pulse, but by her expression, she's not finding one--could dreams have pulses? She isn't sure. So, she says the most comforting thing she can think to say.]
