What: It's the Tanabata festival! The two goddesses Izanami and Amaterasu have been busy making sure it's a celebration to remember.

To be this busy after so many months on Thor, it was a pleasant change for her. She had been in wolf form earlier, but now human (wearing this), she was looking at the bamboo stalks and viewing the stands from this distance. Ah, just like home except she was much closer. Mhm... the bamboo was healthy; good.

Maybe she should write a wish soon or visit a stand. Perhaps her mother would join her for a drink later this evening? They needed to talk more...

[Somewhere on the sidelines, Yoshimori is adding the final touches to his masterpiece, an elaborate cake he's designed just for this holiday-- biggest cake he's ever constructed!]

[It's seven tiers of chocolate/vanilla marble cake covered with dark-dark chocolate fondant to represent space. There are tiny white fondant stars and silver edible glitter cascading down from the middle of the top tier to create the River of Heaven. Each tier of cake has bamboo sprigs poked into it with tiny paper strips decorating them.]

[On the top tier, surrounded by a horseshoe ring of bamboo sprigs, are two little dolls delicately crafted from marzipan of Hikoboshi and Orihime. They reach for each other's hands across the glittery River of Heaven, not able to reach each other just yet. Their eyes are a bit sad, but tiny little candy magpies supported by wires are flying towards them to help them out.]

[For those people who don't like cake (you weirdos) Yoshimori also has meat pies and fruit cups on hand.]

[she had heard the story over the network, and while she hadn't responded to it, she had... well. it was an interesting story... tale, of these people. she decided to attend only because it'd be a prime opportunity to gather information, though, and she settled herself down by a bed of flowers.

she glanced to the side, staring at the flowers (ones she had never seen before, but they were beautiful) for a few seconds before plucking two. a pause. she then began to chain them together carefully, something like a young girl would do. it wasn't like anyone would pay attention to her.

that being said, feel free to come across her. 8)))))]

[Arietta didn't really get these festivals, but Ammy started it - plus she was curious. She didn't expect to see Legretta here (with flowers, even).
