What: The children of Hill House had a ball on the Guide, whcih leads to Riza's "something's not right" senses tingling over the fact they insist they cannot leave. THE INVESTIGATION REACHES HILL HOUSE PROPER.
When: Sometime when people talk like normal people and nothing is flying like pigs.
Where: Residential (i.e. Hill House).
Warnings: Complete lack of regard for the crazy that is Hill House, possibly vague creepiness because it's a haunted house. Mostly expect hilarity as two soldiers are completely unaffected by impotent ghost rage.
[ Hill House sat as a silent presence in it's portion of this particular residential floor. The silence wasn't altogether unusual. In spite of the ship's size, not every room was occupied, and this particular area seemed less populated than others.
So that must have been all there was to the heavy air that hung around the house. Surely not the presences within, particularly the youngest ones, more sedate at the news that Eleanor wasn't to be found. It was hopeless, but maybe one of the people they'd been able to write to would be able to help.
The trick, of course, was making sure Hugh didn't try to hold on to them if they couldn't -- or even if they could. ]
