[After deciding there was nothing to really learn from Kamina or Renge, Amaterasu has decided to leave as well. Instead, she's busied herself to reading a book on Greek Gods and Goddesses for Aphrodite's class. Her work is already done, but she finds it fascinating to read up on other gods not of her land/world/realm.]

[Her ears flick and she looks up, startled. Well, well, someone wasn't paying attention to how many people were at the mall now. Frowning, she stands up and closes her book; walking closer to the Pet Store would be saf-- huh? It's that boy from before...]

[he jumps, silently cursing himself for not staying alert and letting someone sneak up on him without him noticing. It's that woman who'd stitched his wound...the one who worked for the wolf.]

...what do you want.

[his typical hostile greeting is a little less forceful than usual, almost hollow-sounding.]

[She glances around. He wouldn't tell anyone, would he?]

... I'm skipping Renge and Kamina's classes. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm afraid neither are quite capable of teaching. I accidentally started lecturing Kamina anyway during class...

[Carefully, she shifts the book in her hold, glancing into the Pet Emporium's window]

Were you thinking about buying a pet?

At least I'm not the only one who thinks they're incompetent.

No. I just stopped to think for a minute.

[not far to go; he's standing still, staring in the window. With a vaguely melancholy expression on his face. Doesn't it just make you want to buy him a cute fuzzy animal, Van??]

[Arietta has a free period. Since she has a lot of time to kill until her next class, she's also taken to wandering. Malls are weird and she's never been in one - there's so much noise and people and movement she just ends up clutching her doll closer and staring around in bewilderment.]

[staring in that window. Really, domesticated animals...they're so pathetic, needing humans to take care of them. So why can't he stop looking??]

S-Sync...? [She starts to head towards him sub-consciously - but then stops as she gets a glimpse of the pet shop.]

...what. [glances at her. Why did Arietta always seem to turn up at the worst times? Would she tell Van where he was?]

[Walks around the mall in his wolf form] [Has a sausage on his mouth that he just stole found] [Looks at the animals also]

[oh what. Monster walking around free? Or maybe it's just an alien, or a strange being like that white wolf from before. He only spares it a glance after that.]
