What: It's time to start the carnival's first round!
When: Shortly after this went down.
Where: Chouno's lab and surrounding area.
Warnings: Probably language and definitely violence, Chouno IS disturbing imagery and will be saying some very terrible things you don't want children to hear.

Ever since he had gone into hiding, Chouno hadn't spent a single second idle, aside from the rest he was forced to take to prevent his body from simply collapsing in on itself. Even then, he'd been planning what to do when his sickly physical form allowed him to move again. They were good plans. Or, far more accurately, they were quite evil plans.

The first thing he had done was modify the shielding designed to prevent something terrible getting out to prevent anyone from getting in. It didn't span the whole laboratory; only the half with the dangerous equipment and the shelf now covered in tiny purple vials, each one containing a metal embryo which could change a human into an monster. The second thing he had done was set the whole place to blow whenever he pushed a button or two on his phone. The third thing he had done was ensure surveillance was active at all times. It was quite amateur, really, to do things in that order. It was the same mistake all fledgling tyrants made. Defence and weapons above communications and intelligence. But he'd been fast, and the work was done.

Which was why he had known the group was coming for him the second had met around the corner, found himself a comfortable chair, activated his shielding and remotely unlocked his door. They could come in whenever they liked, but all they could do for now would be to look, and perhaps have a chat. No need to be rude, after all. He was happy to be civil with them. Say what you would about Chouno, but he knew that people who were about to die deserved to be treated well.
