Who: bookwormmeister & beatitlikemj
What: Surprise!Butt date Maka is enjoying herself at the Beach planet secretly wishing her friends from home could enjoy it with her and then a wild Beat appears to enjoy it with her instead!
When: June 1st [in the afternoon]
Where: DAT BEACH PLANET
Warnings: .... Beat, okay?

[When she heard about the next planet being a tropical island, Maka wasted no time to head down there. It had been awhile since Maka visited a beach of any kind. Death City was set in the middle of the desert, pretty much isolated from everything.]

[ She counted on her assigned missions to go somewhere outside of her home, but even then it was strictly business. No time for sight seeing. Head to her destination, take care of the pre-Kishin to collect their soul, and then go straight home with a full report.]

[The last beach visit that Maka can remember was back when she was about four years old when her parents were still together, unfortunately for her the trip is a faint memory.]

[Maka idly doodles in the sand with her finger as she thinks quietly to herself. A tiny smile appears on her face at the sudden voice of Black☆Star ringing in her mind. How he would scold her for bringing a book along and not being in the water with the rest of her friends. She imagines Tsubaki sitting probably not far from her with a basket of her finest cooking. Crona would be there with her and Ragnoark eating away as usual.]

[Kid would most definitely make a symmetrical sand castle. And Black☆Star would come by and destroy it just to see one of Kid's meltdowns with Patti and Liz trying to calm him again. And Soul? What would he do? Knowing him, he would have a water gun and use it on her to stop her from reading.]

[Thinking about all of this made Maka chuckle to herself. Sounds like the perfect day to her. At least,....it would be. The smile disappears slowly as she lets out a sigh. She reopens her book to the marked page and begins to read once more. It's better to get sucked in a book than to think this way. Nothing good will come from it.]
