[He walks cheerfully through the streets, right hand in his pocket, left hand resting easily on the hilt of his katana on his left hip. He had decided to change into his dashing gent costume (First Impressions are always the most important in his mind) for a bit of a change of pace. This was technically a date, after all, and he really wouldn't mind some friendly company after everything that's been happening lately.]

['Stellar' catches his eye, and with a slight bounce in his step, he strolls in.]

[Looking around he spies a hostess currently wandering by and stops her briefly.]

Oh, excuse me! I'm looking to meet Miss Tae...can you direct me to her?

[The alien hostess turns white as a sheet and vaguely gestures up the stairs before rushing off into the kitchen. She was screaming something about gorillas.]

[With a shrug, he heads for the stairs.]

[Said gorilla could vaguely be heard chatting above- luckily for him, he couldn't hear her growling threats, but when she spied the blond charmer peek above the top of the stairs, she immediately dropped the poor girl she'd had by the collar, brushing her kimono off in a ladylike gesture and sitting, seiza style, at her table.]

[She waved a hand cheerfully at him, taking note of his rather eye-catching attire.]

[And that sword.]

[Holy shit.]

[Did she just say that out loud?]

[He raises an eyebrow as the other hostess scrambles away. What was that about? Was there trouble?]

[He glances around, his features growing serious for a brief stint, before he greets his date with a warm smile.]

Miss Tae! Hello!

[He walks over, his boots clicking lightly and moves to sit opposite her at the small table. He draws sword and sheathe from his belt and places it delicately alongside to his left, sitting comfortably.]

How are you?

[She can't help but stare at the sword as he removes it, eyes (and head) following it all the way down to his resting spot. After a beat, her head snaps back to him--]

[In a tone that could almost have been accusatory, she smiles through her teeth]

I ........wasn't aware you came from a samurai family........

[She would have been hyperventilating into a paper bag if he weren't there in front of her.]

[He blinked in confusion. He'd never heard the term before.]
