What:  Fai is curious about that strange music Minako was absorbed in, and Minako gets lost too easily.  Clearly, this must be remedied.

Where:  In the food court, a few tables away from Lady Lardworth's bakery!  Moving will occur.

Rock hmm~? I'd have to say I rather enjoy it, yes~

[Fai's voice practically appeared out of nowhere until he leaned forward a little. He was standing at Minako's side, smiling cheerfully at her.]

I hope I didn't keep you waiting long.

[Minako jumped, startled. She's lucky she didn't overbalance and crack her head open on the floor.]

Oh. No, not really! It's nice to meet you in person, Fai-san!

[Just to make sure, Fai placed his hand upon the back of her chair once he noticed how she reacted. It would have been horrible if their first meeting ended up being a visit to the hospital.]

The feeling is mutual, Minako~ Mind you, you look just as lovely on screen as you do in person~

[Awww, what a gentleman. She grins at him.]

Well, someone's a flatterer. You look as handsome in person as you did on the Guide too!

[Her smile turns a bit impish.] Unfortunately, I'm not in the market for a relationship. Hope you don't mind~

[He chuckles. It's nice that she has a sense of humour. It was hard to find someone who actually did nowadays. Moving his way around her seat, he pulled out a chair and situated himself across from the lovely young lady.]

Well thank you~ And I don't mind at all. Friendship is more than enough for me~

Then it seems we don't have a problem!

[She beams at Fai for a moment, before turning her attention to her mp3 player.]

You wanted to hear the song, right? Do you know how to use this?

[She held up her precious music player.]

[He returns her beam with one of her own. What a delightful young lady. He could tell this meeting would be more fun than he anticipated. His attention was then averted to her music player. As she held it out for him, he simply nodded and lifted one of the earphones. Why take the entire player? He wasn't as tech savvy as Syaoran. Placing it into his ear carefully, he gave her a thumbs up to push the play button.]

Let me know if I need to turn it down, okay? Mitsuru-senpai always said I'd ruin my hearing with the way I listen to music.

[She hits play. It's... pretty loud.]

[It was a little surprising when the music exploded in his ear. He couldn't help but jerk his head slightly. It wasn't that bad though. Kurogane would yell at him even louder than the music could ever be. Mind you, its making his ear ring a bit.]

It's not too bad but, perhaps just a little quieter please~

[Minako obligingly turns the volume down. Well, at least the passersby can't hear it anymore.]

[Now that it didn't sound like a muscial Kuro-pi screaming in his ear, Fai was able to get a better listen of the song itself. It was like nothing he had ever heard before. In fact, it was quite amazing!]

I have a bunch of other songs too. They're not all like that though; some are calmer and quieter, and others are... They have more aggressive overtones.

['Wiping All Out' ends and switches to 'Kimi no Kioku']

[The song changed and became a rather upbeat but calming melody. The lyrics were quick though. It was so enticing, Fai simply closed his eyes and bobbed his head to the beat. A small smile crept acrossed his face as the song went on. It had been a while since he had heard such nice music.]

If all of your songs are like this, I might need to get one of these devices as well~

Like I said, I have a lot of music. Japanese, American, Spanish, French, jazz, rock, pop, rap, alternative, musicals, Indy...

If you do get one, I'll help you pick it out! I know a lot about mp3 players and headphones, plus I can give you a bunch of songs to get your started!
