[Filtered to Eirin. Denizens of Eirin's house and/or Reisen's house can eavesdrop (and chime in) if they really want to]

Ah... I suppose you haven't seen the Incidents that sometimes happen in Mayfield yet?

... just... expect the unexpected, is all I can say.

Mm. When I first got here, there was a viral epidemic going around.

Another time, it was raining acid, houses were flooding, electricity was going out...

The most bizarre was when we became younger... and shortly after that it was as if we'd been here for ten years.

...raining acid?

... it wasn't a particularly potent acid, but it did eat through things after enough exposure.

Did it eat through people themselves?

... without proper protection, yes.

Were there many deaths?

Like I said, the acid wasn't that potent... I didn't hear of anybody dying from the acid rain, anyway.

Then why was it called "acid" if it wasn't potent?

I-I think you're misunderstanding me. It did eat through things, yes, but it took time to do it...

A dormant form of acid?

Reply

stop_it_tewi March 17 2010, 05:07:27 UTC
No, not dormant. Just...

... ((*s-sobb* calling it less potent should have covered it... w-why was this difficult?))

It was a slower acting acid...

Acid comes in a simple form. Why do humans take a word and give it different meanings?

...

I don't think it was pure acid, if that's what you were assuming.
