... for those who were affected by Allan's rampage, please don't blame him.

He wasn't himself... I'm not sure what did this to him, but an outside source drove him insane for a time.

I... ah... 'fixed' him, so you don't have to worry anymore.

((ooc: I leave for work like in ten minutes (from the time of this entry being made) s-so don't expect ( Read more... )

... you can cure insanity inflicted by outside forces, miss Inaba? That's... quite a talent.

Calling it a "cure" isn't quite accurate.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with your voice. Have we spoken?

Not a- could you elaborate, please?

We have not.

Reisen's ability is one inherent in her race, but only achieved by those who undergo certain training for it. Lunatic Red Eyes.

What it really comes down to is a matter of perception. Physical, mental, or even spiritual.

May I have the pleasure of your name, then, miss? I prefer to know with whom I am speaking.

... interesting name for it. Though perceptions can be powerful things- that is how we form our opinions on the world, other people.... miss Inaba can alter those?

Would it really be a pleasure?

In a sense. With her eyes, she can temporarily alter the actual wavelengths of radiation we are dependent on to form perception. Though in some cases, the change can become a permanent adjustment. Still, the term "cure" is not entirely accurate.

I don't see why it wouldn't be.

... how very intriguing. I wonder if those kinds of effects could be replicated mechanically... though a power like that could be abused too easily if in the wrong hands.

All right, I concede that a 'cure' is inaccurate.

Dr. Yagokoro. Reeve Tuesti. It is a pleasure. Miss Inaba holds you in high esteem- she was very kind to me shortly after I arrived.

Well, she has many reasons to, I suppose.

Though I imagine her view of me is quite biased, given she is my apprentice.

Probably. We tend to be a bit biased towards the ones we're close to. But then, you have to have done something to have earned such loyalty in the first place, so.

That's subjective.

True. I'm lacking many of the facts needed to make a fully objective opinion, however.

So few have them, it seems.

Just means one has to keep looking. Having a set decision based on hastily-discovered information could be disastrous.

I think that may be why I can never stick to just the sciences. They're a little less complicated than people can be in that regard, but the complexity is part of what makes it fun.

I can only agree. The study of human nature has always been one that has fascinated the thinkers of the world.

Of course I can give you your first clue right now. It may make things a bit different.

I am not human.
