Wow, okay, where to start? The incredibly hot HET sex? The excellent Vecchio/Stella interaction? The by-proxy happy ending you gave to Fraser and Kowalski? Susan Chapin's cameo? It all adds up to one hell of a fic, and I don't think I've enjoyed Vecchio/Stella so much since Hth's Sibylla ti theleis. I really adore the way you've built up their relationship into this sort of mature, complex relationship that's less about roses and violins than it is about finding someone you can live with, whose company you enjoy, who doesn't drive you crazy with unrealistic expectations. That seems to be what Stella's relationship was like with Kowalski, and Vecchio here is so Vecchio, so adorkable and hot and easy, that I can see why Stella would be very happy with him. That line about how he loves her IUD was perfect: it's real life, real love, still romantic but with the trappings of sentimentality stripped away. It's great stuff, is what I'm saying, and I really love you and your shiny, porny brain. YAY Vecchio/Stella!

aw, thanks!!! ::blushes:: i hate the way vecchio/stella is presented in cotw but i realized recently that i love love love the idea of it--they'd be so cute together! i'm glad you liked my vecchio characterization. and yeah, romantic with the trappings of sentimentality stripped away is kind of how i see both vecchio and stella although vecchio does have that conventionally romantic streak when he's with women. i tend to ignore it and just make him treat stella the way he treats fraser 'cause i think in the end she'd make him anyway.
