[Have a cute, little secretary whose feet don't quite reach the floor when she sits at her desk, casually flipping through a few random documents with the most serious lineface. Like she's trying to act as grown-up and mature as possible...except not really, because she always looks like that.]

[passing by to drop off another stack for alphabetizing]

You can play games here too, you know.

[Accepts the papers and immediately begins placing them in piles]

That's not why I'm here.

[sighing]

Very well. Have you taught Miss Tomoe how to use the coffee machine yet?

[You said she needed to prove herself. Well, that's exactly what she intended to do.]

No. I made the coffee before she came in this morning.

I didn't even know she needed help with it.

Have you even spoken to her? Communication is vital in the workplace.

[prove away...]

[Grits her teeth, trying her best not to redden from embarrassment]

No, ma'am. Not yet. I've been mainly focused on this morning's assignments.

Multi-task.

[less than cordial today; someone make decent coffee please]

[no, Midii, apparently yours isn't up to snuff either 8|]

...yes, ma'am.

[Gets up, very deliberately picks up her papers, and heads back towards the employee lounge in search of Tomoe.]

[Not her fault. Tell boss-man to get a better brand if you don't like the instant stuff.]

[going to retreat back into her office now]

Secretary Tomoe (the one in the freaking kimono) willing_sheath September 16 2011, 04:04:16 UTC
[To be perfectly honest, when she signed up for this job she was expecting to organize and file paperwork, crunch numbers, take messages and whatnot.]

[Unfortunately, she had not taken into consideration the number of electronic devices she would have to deal with. She was progressing phenomenally for a person for whom electricity and running water were technological advancements... but to someone who didn't know what year she came from she probably looked like a hapless moron.]

[Or at least she felt like one. Luckily she was quite good at hiding things like ~feelings~]

[For now, she was having a staring contest with the mammoth printer/copier. She didn't understand how it worked but she at least understood what it was meant to do. And that this ridiculous control panel full of buttons was meant to tell the thing what to do ( ... )

[just dropping by to check]

Good morning, Une-san.

[Copying up a storm /o/ One-sided... but successful use of the copier is a go.]

Yes, they are.

[Once she locates the manual for this thing and takes it home to study it it will be going even better >_>;]
